[Object]The study,based on the analysis of medical practice supervision of Yixing from 2014 to 2016,aims for describing current situation,corresponding problems of medical practice supervision,understanding the types of illegal practice of Medicine and unlicensed practice of medicine,thus exploring countermeasures and issuing suggestion to improve medical practice supervision work and the situation of medical service market[Methods]The study analyzes the current situation of medical practice supervision work in Yixing.The study analyzes structuring,personnel and legal ground of medical practice supervision organization,the current situation and administrative punishment of licensed medical institutions,the unlicensed practice of medicine,and complaints reports in Yixing[Results]The medical practice supervision in Yixing has the following characteristics and shortcomings1.The system of medical practice supervision is not sound.The current medical resources in Yixing cannot meet the needs of the existing population.The development of private medical institutions and public medical institutions is unbalanced.There is a clear shortage of supervisors.The knowledge structure is single and the age structure is unreasonable.There is lack of communication between approval and management of medical institutions2.Relevant laws and regulations await perfection.At present,there is no parent law for the supervision of medical institutions in China.There are many problems in existing laws and regulations.It is difficult for law enforcement personnel to apply the law in law enforcement3.The daily supervision of licensed medical institutions is out of balance.The management and punishment of private medical institutions is obviously more than that of public medical institutions.No punishment has been imposed for medical malpractice.The penalty score of medical institution is not complete.Scoring is out of touch with management4.The shortage of effective punishment on unlicensed practice of medicine leads to imperfectness in banning it.The punishment for unlicensed medical practice is low the confiscation of drugs and instruments is insufficient,and the illegal income from unlicensed practice is difficult to verify.Punishment is difficult for unlicensed practitioners to act as a deterrent.Insufficient communication between departments led to the failure of some cases.The improper administrative measures have caused great difficulties to the supervision of medical law enforcement5.Complaint reports serve as an important source of clues to fight against illegal practice of medicine.Complaints reports have become an important source of clues for cracking down on illegal medical practices.At present,there are still some problems in the work of reporting complaints,such as too many anonymous reports serious repeated reports,low investigation rate of reports,and failure to implement administrative penalties for some medical practice supervision enforcement and updating the mode of medical practice supervision.The subject qualification and competence of health law enforcement agencies should be further clarified.The health department shall meet the medical needs of the local population in the setting up of medical institutions.Local government departments should increase investment in health supervision2.Further improving the laws and regulations of Medical and Health Supervision We call upon all departments with legislative power to improve the legal and regulatory system of medical practice supervision as soon as possible in accordance with the actual needs of social progress and the development of health care,and to formulate and revise relevant laws and regulations in a timely
