| Objective:With the goal of this study,a cohort of middle-aged and elderly people in a community in Guilin were recruited to investigate the current status of BMD and the influencing factors among middle-aged and elderly people in this region,so as to provide the basis and support for subsequent medical interventions.Method:In this paper,a random sample of middle and old aged people from within 2 communities of cinnamon was selected as the subject of this analysis, and their basic information,as well as the basic state of their bodies, were surveyed and collated through direct interviews and questionnaires.1.Basic information includes the names, heights, weights of the elderly, etc.,while the related information of physical health status mainly includes lifestyle,three-dimensional information,as well as complications,etc.2.For the subject of this study, ultrasound BMD testing was unfolded, and a detailed examination of BMD was performed after applying the appropriate coupling agent to one-third(left/right)of the wrist of all the population under investigation by a professional precision instrument, namely ultrasound BMD(model bmd-9m5).The final data were presented in g/cm~2and then, according to the patient’s condition, they were divided into three groups, the first group was the osteoporotic group,The second group was the non osteoporotic group.3.The DNA information of the two groups was collected and stored, and the relationship between the osteoporosis status of the patients and the genes of the body was unfolded, then some main influencing elements were studied. The final data obtained were all collated, stored, analyzed and calculated by SPSS26.0,in which the metrology data were presented as mean±standard deviation(±s),and the results of each group were processed by variance analysis, and the related influencing factors were evaluated by logistic regression analysis. When the final p-value lies within the category of 0.05,it means to have a statistical value, and conversely, there is no need to be a statistic for it,i.e.to indicate a difference with P<0.05 as statistically significant.Results:1.Osteoporosis univariate analysis:body mass index(BMI),whether they had ever had a fracture, and milk drinking were statistically significantly different between the osteoporotic and non osteoporotic groups(P<0.05).2.The results of multivariate analysis of osteoporosis showed that(1)BMI was not statistically significant between the osteoporotic and non osteoporotic groups(P=0.63,or=4.27,P>0.05);(2)Milk drinking was a protective factor for osteoporosis(OR=3.24,P=0.04,P<0.05);(3)Ever having a fracture was a risk factor for developing osteoporosis(P=0.03,or=0.24).3.The association of the SNP rs3810143 in the NECTIN2 gene with osteoporosis was statistically significant(P<0.05)in a dominant model, and the risk of osteoporosis in the dominant model genotypes TT or TC in the rs3810143 locus was 1.55-fold higher than that in the genotype CC.Conclusions:1.Cow milk intake, history of fracture, and consumption of milk among the middle-aged and elderly population in this region of cinnamon are important contributing factors to osteoporosis. Therefore, strengthening dairy intake and preventing fracture are of great significance in the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.2.An association between osteoporosis and the dominant model TT or TC type at rs3810143,a single nucleotide polymorphism locus in the NECTIN2 gene,in a population of middle-aged adults in this region of Laurin,China. Therefore, the SNP rs3810143 of NECTIN2 may have a relationship with the development of osteoporosis, and this may be considered when diagnosing and treating osteoporosis in the future. |
