Objective: To investigate the current situation and related factors of suicidal ideation among middle and high school students.Additionally, the study aimed to analyze the protective effect and mechanism of psychological resilience on suicidal ideation and evaluate the effect of a group psychotherapy intervention program on improving mental resilience and suicidal ideation.Methods:1.The study selected 100 adolescent patients with suicide risk from the psychiatric department of the First Hospital of Hebei Medical University. These patients were diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder according to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems X,(ICD-10)criteria.The patients were divided into two groups: the drug combined with psychotherapy group(intervention group,49 cases)and the drug therapy group(control group,51 case).2.Social graphic data of all subjects were collected,HAMD,YMRS,Suicide Factors Risk Assessment Form,CGI,CTQ-SF,and CD-RISC-10,were used to evaluate the patients’ condition. The intervention group received group psychotherapy, and both groups were followed up for four weeks.3.The data collected were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 software and the PROCESS plug-in developed by Hayes, and P < 0.05 was set as statistical difference. The analysis involved normality tests, independent sample t-tests,Mann-Whitney U tests, and chi-square tests or Fisher exact tests.Pearson correlation analysis and moderated mediating effect analysis were used to explore the relationship between mental resilience, childhood traumatic experience, depressive symptoms, and suicidal ideation.1.Descriptive statistics of general data and results of univariate analysis of variance(chi-square test): A total of 113 adolescent patients with emotional disorders were studied, including 13 researchers who lost follow-up or withdrew from the study, and 100 patients were finally enrolled. There were54 females(54.0%)and 46 males(46.0%).The age range was 12-18 years, and the mean age was 15.34±0.18 years.Among them,12(12.0%)had a high school education or less,43(43.0%)had a college education,38(38.0%)had a bachelor’s degree, and 7(7.0%)had a master’s degree or more.2.2.At baseline, there was no significant difference in HAMD scores between the two groups(z=0.435,P=0.663),and there was a significant difference after 4 weeks of follow-up.The intervention group was lower than the control group(z=3.613,P<0.001).At baseline, there was no significant difference in scores on the psychological resilience scale between the two groups(t=1.137,P=0.256).After 4 weeks of follow-up,there was a significant difference and the intervention group was higher than the control group(t=7.028,P<0.001).3.With suicide risk as the dependent variable, childhood trauma as the independent variable, depressive symptoms as the mediating variable, psychological resilience as the moderating variable, gender, age, parental education, drug use and other covariates as the moderating mediation effect analysis, the results show that: In this study, there was a developmental path of "childhood trauma-depressive symptoms-suicidal ideation" in adolescent patients with mood disorders. The direct effect of childhood trauma on depressive symptoms was 0.869(t=3.993,P<0.001),and the direct effect of psychological resilience on depressive symptoms was 0.947(t=2.504,P<0.05).The direct effect of the interaction between childhood trauma and resilience on depressive symptoms was 0.296(t=3.787,P=0.003).Psychological resilience weakened the correlation between variables in the path "childhood trauma-depressive symptoms-suicidal ideation" through moderating effect, which was specifically shown as low group(≤ 14)indirect effect0.454(t=3.554,P=0.006).The indirect effect of the medium group(14-17)wasResults:0.366(t=3.223,P=0.0018),and the indirect effect of the high group(17-37)was 0.227(t=1.716,P=0.0897).The moderated mediating effect was found. When the moderating variable was in the low group and middle group, childhood trauma has a significant indirect effect on suicidal ideation through depressive symptoms. Conclusions: 1.The group psychotherapy intervention program showed significant efficacy in improving psychological resilience and reducing suicidal ideation and depressive symptoms.3.These findings highlight the importance of addressing psychological resilience in suicide prevention strategies among adolescent populations.2.Middle and low level psychological resilience is an indirect risk factor of childhood trauma-depression symptom path, and plays a significant regulatory role in this pathway.
