Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Subacute Perianal Eczema With Modified Compound Kushen Decoction Combined With Triamcinolone Econazole Cream

Objective: The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical efficacy of modified compound Kushen decoction plus triamcinolone eczema cream in the treatment of subacute perianal eczema,in order to provide a new clinical treatment plan.Methods: This study was a non-randomized,self-controlled small sample clinical observation.According to different treatment methods,patients treated in the outpatient department were divided into three groups: patients treated with simply modified compound Kushen decoction sitbath(traditional Chinese medicine group,TCM group),patients treated with simply triamcinolone econazole cream(Western medicine group,WM group),and patients treated with the combination of both(Chinese and Western medicine group,CWM group).After the observation,SPSS25.0software was used for statistical analysis,and the difference of data before and after treatment and the efficacy of three different treatments were evaluated.Results: After treatment,there were no significant differences in anxiety(SAS)score,quality of life(DLQI)score and skin area score among the three groups(P >0.05).There were significant differences in SAS score,DLQI score,EASI score,moist/exudate score and area score among the three groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05).VAS scores of CWM group and TCM group before and after treatment were statistically different(P < 0.05),while VAS scores of WM group were not statistically different(P > 0.05).After treatment,the effect of each group was compared as follows: in terms of itching VAS scores,the score of WM group was higher than that of CWM group(P < 0.05).In terms of exudation/dampness,the score of WM group was higher than that of CWM group(P < 0.05).In terms of the EASI,the score of WM group was higher than that of TCM group and CWM group(P <0.05).After the observation,the effective rates of the TCM group,WM group and CWM group were 80.00%,50.00% and 86.67%,respectively.The effective rate of WM group was lower than that of CWM group(P<0.05),but the recurrence rate was higher than that of TCM group and CWM group(P<0.05).Conclusion: All three groups of treatment can improve anxiety symptoms and quality of life,reduce the area of skin lesions and the severity of skin lesions,itching degree,and improve exudation/dampness symptoms.Compared with traditional Chinese medicine or Western medicine alone,the combined Chinese and Western medicine had better clinical efficacy and lower recurrence rate within 1 month.It is suggested that the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of subacute perianal eczema has obvious advantages and is safe and reliable,which can be used for clinical reference.
