Objective: By designing a controlled experiment to explore the efficacy of IASTM therapy in patients with Lumbodorsal Myofascitis(LBM),it is proved that IASTM therapy can greatly relieve the pain of patients, significantly improve the waist function, and improve the quality of life, reduce the recurrence of the disease itself,to enrich the clinical treatment of LBM.Methods: This study focuses on clinical practice, and according to our screening criteria,60 patients with low back Myofascitis were selected. These patients were treated in the orthopedic outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine from December 2020 to December 2022.The subjects were divided into two groups by random number table method. The subjects in both groups received six treatments.Among them,30 subjects in the observation group were treated with fascia knife therapy, and 30 subjects in the control group were treated with routine massage. The treatment frequency was 2 times/week.After 1course of treatment, the basic information such as gender, age, course of disease and treatment method were recorded in detail for each subject, and the VAS and ODI scores before and after treatment and the clinical efficacy after treatment were recorded respectively.During the whole experiment period,we closely monitored whether the subjects had adverse reactions and dealt with them in time.Finally,SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis of the two groups of data to evaluate the efficacy of fascia knife therapy.Results:1.Comparative analysis of pre-treatment data: The baseline data and VAS and ODI scores of the two groups were compared, and there was no significant difference(P>0.05),indicating that the data are comparable.2.After treatment and at follow-up,intra-group VAS and ODI scores were compared:(1)The indexes of the subjects in the same group after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the preface of each index of treatment, the indexes of follow-up 3 months after the end of treatment in the same group of subjects were significantly reduced(P<0.05).It shows that IASTM therapy and conventional massage therapy can relieve pain symptoms and restore waist function to a large extent, and both have good medium and long-term effects.(3)Compared with the indexes after treatment, the indexes of the observation group were slightly increased at the follow-up after 3 months of treatment, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05);the data of the control group increased significantly(P<0.05).First of all,it shows that the pain degree of the subjects in the observation group did not increase significantly after the treatment to the 3rd month follow-up,while the pain degree of the control group began to increase slowly;this means that IASTM therapy is better than conventional massage therapy in reducing disease recurrence and reducing medical expenses.3.Comparative analysis of VAS and ODI scores between the two groups after treatment and at follow-up: The indexes of the two groups were compared at the follow-up after treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment. The results of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).It shows that IASTM therapy is superior to conventional massage overall, and its therapeutic effect is better and the duration is longer.4.Comparative analysis of clinical efficacy between two groups: After the course of treatment, the total effective rate of fascia knife therapy was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of conventional massage was 83.33%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was statistically analyzed, and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, indicating that the clinical efficacy of fascia knife therapy was better than that of conventional massage.Conclusion:1.The IASTM therapy and conventional massage therapy can relieve pain symptoms and restore waist function to a large extent, and both have good medium and long-term effects.2.The IASTM therapy is generally better than conventional massage therapy, its treatment effect is better, the duration is longer, and it is better in reducing disease recurrence and reducing medical expenses.3.The IASTM therapy is effective in the treatment of LBM.Its clinical application value for soft tissue diseases is also quite high, and it is worth further research and application.
