| Objective:Combined with the knowledge of acupuncture theory on cervical type cervical spondylosis,to compare the clinical efficacy between acupotomy therapy by “loose tendon and node” and acupuncture on the treatment of patients with cervical type cervical spondylosis, and conduct an objective evaluation. Methods:Sixty patients with cervical type cervical spondylosis who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for this study were randomly divided into acupotomy therapy group and acupuncture group according to the order of treatment. There are 30 cases in each group. Both groups of patients on the basis of conventional therapy. In addition, the treatment group was treated with acupotomy therapy by “loose tendon and node”,once a week for treatment, and a course of treatment for 3 weeks. And the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture, once a day for treatment, and a course of treatment for 3 weeks.Visual analogue score(VAS),neck disability index(NDI)and mobility level in cervical vertebra as the observation index.Additionally, the changes in various observation index were recorded at before treatment,1 week,2 weeks,3 weeks and 3month after the first treatment.Three weeks after the first treatment, the efficacy was evaluated according to the symptoms in the "Diagnostic and Curative Criteria for Traditional Chinese Medicine Diseases".And doctor will record all adverse reactions of the patient during the whole treatment process, including the time of occurrence, specific symptoms, treatment and results.SPSS Statistics version 27.0 statistical software is used for data analysis.Result:1.Before treatment: General data,VAS score, cervical Dysfunction Index Scale(NDI)and cervical range of motion of patients in experimental group and control group, their difference was not statistically significant, indicating that the two groups were comparable after statistical analysis(p>0.05).2.VAS score: The VAS score of both groups showed a downward trend, but the VAS score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group after each treatment cycle. Two groups were compared in each treatment cycle and 3 months after the end of treatment(p<0.05).It showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in the pain of cervical type cervical spondylosis.3.Neck Disability Index(NDI): The NDI of both groups showed a downward trend, but the NDI of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group after each treatment cycle. Two groups were compared in each treatment cycle and 3 months after the end of treatment(p<0.05).The results showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in the dysfunction of cervical vertebra.4.Mobility level in cervical vertebra: Cervical motion in both groups showed an increasing trend, but the cervical motion in the experimental group was greater than that in the control group after each treatment cycle. Two groups were compared in each treatment cycle and 3months after the end of treatment(p<0.05).It indicated that the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving the range of motion of cervical spine.5.After 3 sessions(The 21 st day): The overall response rate of the experimental group was 93% and that of the control group was 77%,indicating that the therapeutic effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(p=0.038<0.05).Conclusions:1.Ultrasound-guided acupotomy therapy of cervical type cervical spondylosis can reduce VAS score and neck disability index, and improve mobility level in cervical vertebra.Ultrasound-guided acupotomy therapy had a notably therapeutic effect on improving cervicodynia, functions of cervical vertebra and cervical motion.2.Ultrasound-guided acupotomy "loose tendon and node" therapy in the treatment of cervical-type cervical spondylosis had prominently clinical efficacy. It had obtained satisfactory results and being worthy of clinical application. |
