Clinical Efficacy Of Mongolian Medicine Erdun Wurile And Agaru-35 In The Treatment Of Depression

Objective: This study compared the therapeutic effects between the treatment group treated with the combination of Mongolian medicine Erdun Wurile,Agaru-35,and Flupenthidomide Melitracene tablets and the control group treated solely with Flupenthidomide Melitracene tablets.The scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17),Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and Mongolian Medicine Depression Symptoms Scale were used to compare the therapeutic effects.Evaluate the clinical efficacy of Erdun Uril and Agaru 35 in treating depression,providing a theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of depression.Method: Sixty patients who met the inclusion criteria in the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Brain Disease Department of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital from December 2021 to February 2023 were selected and randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 30 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with Mongolian medicine and Western medicine,with Erdun Wurile,Agaru-35,and Flupentiazid Melitracen tablets;The control group was treated with flupenthixone melitracene tablets.All treatment cycles are 4 weeks as a course of treatment.Record the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17 items),Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),and Mongolian Medical Depression Symptom Scale scores before enrollment,after 2 weeks of treatment,and after 4 weeks of treatment;The data was processed using SPSS 26.0.Results: A total of 63 patients with mild to moderate depression were included in this study,and a total of three patients were excluded during the treatment process.Finally,60 mild to moderate depression patients(30 in the treatment group and 30 in the control group)who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in the statistics.Before treatment,the gender,age,HAMD-17 scale,SDS scale,PSQI scale,and Mongolian Medicine Depression Symptom Scale of the treatment and control groups were statistically analyzed for eight symptoms,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating comparability.Subsequently,the scores of HAMD-17,SDS,PSQI,and Mongolian Medicine Depression Symptom Scale were analyzed,and the results were as follows:(1)Intragroup comparison: The difference between the treatment group and the control group before treatment and after 2 and 4 weeks of treatment was statistically significant(P<0.001),indicating that both groups had therapeutic effects.(2)Inter group comparison: After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,the differences between the control group and the treatment group were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the average score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group.However,there was no statistical significance(P>0.05)in the crying of the Mongolian Medicine Depression Symptom Scale,and there was no difference in the efficacy between the two groups.The rest were statistically significant,and the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)After treatment,the treatment efficacy of each group was evaluated based on the reduction rate of the HAMD-17 scale.In the treatment group,3 cases were ineffective,14 cases were effective,13 cases were significantly effective,and 0 cases were cured.The total effective rate was 90%.In the control group,6 cases were ineffective,21 cases were effective,4 cases were significantly effective,and 0 cases were cured.The total effective rate was 80%.Rank sum test was conducted on the efficacy of the experimental group and the control group,with P=0.029 and P<0.05.There was a statistically significant difference in efficacy between the experimental group and the control group.Conclusion: The combination of Mongolian medicine Erdun Wurile,Agaru-35 Weisan,and Flupenthiaton Melitracen Tablets,as well as oral Flupenthiaton Melitracen Tablets alone,have therapeutic effects on mild to moderate depression.The combination of Mongolian medicine and Flupenthiaton Melitracen Tablets is more significant.Mongolian medicine Erdun Wurile and Agaru 35 have certain effects on improving depressive symptoms and improving the sleep state of patients.It also provides a certain basis for the treatment of depression with Mongolian drugs such as Erdun Wurile and Agaru-35 in the future.This study has also demonstrated the efficacy of Mongolian drugs Erdun Wurile and Agaru 35 in treating depression,providing new ideas for the future treatment of depression with Mongolian medicine,and providing a basis for its widespread clinical application.
