Objective: Exploring the relationship between physical features and the distribution of syndrome components in those with pulmonary nodules is the objective. Methods: From November 2021 to November 2022,the physical characteristics of 126 individuals with pulmonary nodules who had been treated in Changchun University of Chinese Medicine’s Affiliated Hospital’s Pulmonary Disease Outpatient Department were investigated in this research. The TCM physique questionnaire was then filled out.According to the diagnostic criteria of Syndrome element differentiation,a variety of data tables such as the clinical questionnaire of syndrome element symptoms were created to better reflect the changes of the patient’s condition and recorded in Excel tables.SPSS21.0 statistical analysis software was used to analyze the results of various data, cluster analysis and multi-factor regression were used to analyze the distribution characteristics of syndromes, constitution and nodules, and the final results were obtained.Results:1.The ratio of male to female is 0.537:1.After the non-parameter X2 test,P < 0.05,the survey showed that there was a significant difference in the prevalence rate between men and women, and women were higher than men.According to the standards of the Geriatrics Society of the Chinese Medical Association, the subjects were divided into three groups according to age: young group(< 45 years old),middle-aged group(45-60 years old)and old group(> 60 years old). After examination,P < 0.05 indicates that there are significant differences in the prevalence of pulmonary nodules among different age groups, and the incidence of middle-aged people is the highest.2.Among all patients with pulmonary nodules,64 had small nodules(diameter 5-8mm),accounting for the highest 50.8%.There were 59 cases of ground glass nodules, accounting for 46.8%.Solid nodules were found in 58 cases(46%).3.According to the analysis of the results of the scale developed according to the syndrome elements, among the 126 patients with pulmonary nodules in this study,Yang deficiency accounted for the most, followed by phlegm > Qi deficiency > Yin deficiency >Qi stagnation > dampness > heat > Yang hyperactivity > blood deficiency = blood stasis >drink > cold.4.In this study, the single constitution was the largest, accounting for 58.7%;There were 38 cases(18.6%)of Yang deficiency,32 cases(15.7%)of qi deficiency, and 30 cases(14.7%)of Yin deficiency.According to the results of multi-factor regression analysis,Yang deficiency was the most susceptible constitution of lung nodules. It is found that Yang deficiency is the main substance in all constitution.based on "Yang transforms qi and Yin forms",further discussion can be made. Conclusion: In 126 patients with pulmonary nodules in this study,Yang deficiency accounted for the most, followed by phlegm,qi deficiency,Yin deficiency, etc. In the constitution types,Yang deficiency is the main, followed by qi deficiency,Yin deficiency and so on.
