Objective : In this study,a clinical trial was conducted to observe the clinical efficacy of warm acupuncture with acupuncture in the treatment of Osteoarthritis of the knee(KOA),providing a new treatment method for the treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee,so that it can be widely used in clinical practice.Methods : A count of 72 sick person with KOA were saved in stricity follow with the inclusive criteria.Among them,there were 36 sick person in the treatment group with warm acupuncture and acupuncture knife remedy,and 36 sick in the control group with common acupuncture cure.In this trial,there were three courses of treatment,each course of 10 days.Finally,the clinical efficacy was s judged by watching and unpacking the changes of VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM symptomscale before and after healing.Results:1.After comparative analysis before treatment,there was no significant difference in the mean age,the number of males and females accounted for and the length of disease between the two groups(P>0.05),and the two groups could be compared.2.Regarding VAS pain scores: the difference between the pain scores of the treatment group and the control group before treatment was not significant,(P>0.05)was not statistically significant,indicating that the two groups of patients could be compared;when the scores of the two groups of patients before and after treatment were compared within the group,it was found that the pain level of the two groups of patients was reduced more significantly after treatment compared with that before treatment(P<0.05);then the scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were The VAS scores in the treated group decreased more significantly compared with the control group,and the patients’ pain symptoms were also relieved more significantly(P<0.05).3.WOMAC scores: Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the WOMAC scores of patients in the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups could be compared;when the WOMAC scores of patients in the treatment group and the control group before and after treatment were compared within groups,it was found that the WOMAC scores of the two groups after treatment decreased compared with the scores before treatment(P<0.05);the clinical efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group when the scores of the two groups were compared between groups after treatment(P<0.05).4.Regarding the quantitative TCM symptom grading scale: when patients in the treatment group and control group were compared before treatment,there was no significant difference(P>0.05),indicating that statistical comparisons could be made;when the TCM symptom scores of patients in both treatment and control groups were compared within groups before and after treatment,it was found that the TCM symptom scores of patients in both groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment(P<0.05);at the end of treatment when the patients in both groups were compared between groups,and there was a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),and the treatment effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.5.In terms of total effective rate: 15 cases were cured,12 cases were apparently effective,6 cases were effective and 3 cases were invalid in the treatment group,with a total effective rate of 91.67%;6 cases were cured,10 cases were apparently effective,14 cases were effective and 6 cases were invalid in the control group,with a total effective rate of 83.33%.Statistical comparison between the treatment group and the control group,(P<0.05),showed significant differences.Conclusion : Through observation and analysis,the two ways have certain clinical efficacy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis,but the therapeutic effect of warm acupuncture combined with acupuncture is better than the effect of acupuncture alone,which can better alleviate the clinical symptoms of knee arthritis and enable patients to return to normal life as soon as possible.
