Objective: The purpose of this study is to introduce "FIFA 11+" warm-up training, develop new warm-up training methods in football projects, and enhance the dynamic balance ability of athletes’ lower limbs by improving the muscle strength around the knee and ankle joints,so as to reduce the risk of sports injury. This article mainly compares the "FIFA 11+" warm-up exercise with the conventional warm-up exercise, and analyzes the impact of two different training schemes on the dynamic balance ability and lower limb joint muscle strength of football players. Methods: In this experiment,20 college football players from Southwest University were randomly selected as experimental subjects. The athletes were divided into experimental group EG(experimental group,n=10)and control group CG(control group,n=10).During the experiment, all players received intervention twice a week.Group E received "FIFA 11+" training, while Group C received regular warm-up training for rugby for 22 minutes. The total duration of the experiment was 8weeks,Except for warm-up training, the training content of the two groups of subjects was the same. Before the experiment, the physical variables of the two groups of experimental personnel were statistically analyzed to ensure that the differences in physical variables between the two groups of experimental personnel were not significant and comparable. Before and after the experiment, two groups of athletes were tested for ankle toe flexion strength, knee extension strength,YTB,FMS.The pre and post test data of Group E and Group C were compared using paired sample t-tests within the group. The baseline and post test comparisons between Group E and Group C were compared using independent sample t-tests.All data are processed and analyzed through SPSS 26 and displayed in Excel tables. In all hypothesis tests,P<0.05 indicates a significant difference. Results: After the experiment, the results of lower limb dynamic balance tests(FMS,YTB tests)in Group E were higher than those in Group C,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05);The results of lower limb joint muscle strength tests(knee extensor muscle strength, ankle toe flexor muscle strength)in Group E were higher than those in Group C,with significant differences between the two groups(p<0.05).After the experiment, the intragroup comparison found that after completing 8 weeks of training, the average scores of the FMS test,Y balance test, knee extension strength test, and ankle toe flexion strength test of 10 athletes in Group E were improved, with significant differences between the pre and post data(P<0.05);The average scores of FMS test,Y balance test, knee extension strength test, and ankle toe flexion strength test of 10 athletes in Group C did not significantly change, showing a non significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion: After 8 weeks of "FIFA11+" comprehensive warm-up training, the dynamic balance ability of the lower limbs of the subjects in Group E was most significantly improved."FIFA11+" comprehensive warm-up training can improve physical performance, improve body balance, strengthen core strength and lower limb centrifugal training, and exercise the control and stability of the muscle groups in the lower limb core region. In addition, the knee extensor muscle strength and ankle toe flexor muscle strength in Group E were improved, which improved the strength quality of the surrounding muscle groups of the subjects in the intervention group when performing knee extensor and ankle toe flexor movements. The main reason is that this exercise mode can stimulate the muscle groups around the lower limb joints and attach importance to the training of the nervous system."FIFA 11+" warm-up can effectively improve athlete’s lower limb joint strength and neuromuscular control, and improve athlete’s coordination and balance, thereby reducing impact on the lower limb and joint pressure. In summary,"FIFA 11+" warm-up training has been effective in preventing athlete injuries, and has made an empirical contribution to the promotion of this exercise in college football.
