Clinical Study On Dingxuanpingya Decoction In Treating Of Vertigo (Hypertension) With Yin Deficiency And Yang Hyperactivity

Objective:Through the clinical observation on the treatment of hypertension patients with yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity syndrome with Dingxuanpingya Decoction,explore its effectiveness and safety.Methods:A total of 72 patients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,36 patients in each group.The control group: Subjects continued to take the antihypertensive western drugs before entering the general treatment.The treatment group: Subjects take antihypertensive western drugs of the control group,and meanwhile take orally Dingxuanpingya Decoction(take it three times half an hour after meals a day,1 dose each time,1 dose add 150 ml warm water for take orally).The treatment course of these two groups was 4 weeks.Results:(1)Blood pressure : After treatment,the blood pressure(SBP,DBP)of the treatment group and the control group can be drop to the normal high range,and the treatment group is far better than the control group(P<0.05).(2)The effective rate of lower blood pressure: After treatment,the treatment group reached 91.2%(significantly effective 55.9%,effective 35.3%),and the control group reached 79.4%(significantly effective 29.4%,effective 50.0%)(These two groups P<0.05).(3)In terms of main symptoms and secondary symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine: After treatment,the score of primary and secondary symptoms in the treatment group and the control group decreased,and the score of symptoms in the treatment group decreased more than that in the control group in terms of the primary symptoms(dizziness,low back pain,five-heart fever)and secondary symptoms(headache,insomnia,tinnitus)(P<0.05);In terms of main symptoms(knee weakness)and secondary symptoms(palpitation,amnesia),there is little difference between the treatment group and control group(P>0.05).(4)In terms of the total score of TCM syndromes: After treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group and the control group decreased,and the decrease degree in the treatment group was greater than that in the control group(P<0.01).(5)In terms of TCM syndrome effect: After treatment,the treatment group reached 94.1%(significantly effective 64.7%,effective 29.4%),and the control group reached 67.7%(significantly effective 11.8%,effective 55.9%)(These two groups P<0.05).(6)In terms of safety indicators:No significantly changes were observed in ECG,liver function,renal function,three routine examinations+occult blood of all patients in the treatment group and control group before and after the take orally Dingxuanpingya Decoction and western medicines.(7)Adverse reactions: No drug allergy,toxic side effects or other adverse effects were observed during and after treatment in the two groups.Conclusion:In terms of improving the clinical symptoms of patients,Dingxuanpingya Decoction has a significant effect compared with western antihypertensive drugs.In addition,Dingxuan Pingya Decoction combined with western antihypertensive drugs has a good antihypertensive effect on patients without adverse reactions.This study confirmed the effectiveness and safety of Dingxuanpingya Decoction in treating hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity,and also reflected the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in modern clinical practice.
