Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Bufei Decoction on postoperative rehabilitation of patients with non-small cell lung cancer of lung-qi deficiency type, and provide basis for its clinical application. Methods:Through a randomized controlled clinical trial study, according to the requirements of the clinical study design,68 patients with related complications after surgical treatment of NSCLC with lung-qi deficiency in Quan Zhou were selected and randomly divided into two groups. The treatment group was conventional treatment(abdominal breathing training)+modified Bufei Decoction, and the control group was conventional treatment(abdominal breathing training),with 34 patients in each group.14 days was a course of treatment, and both groups were treated for 2 courses.Observe the changes of TCM syndrome score,KPS score, lung function index and LCQ score before and after treatment, collect relevant data and conduct statistical analysis.Results:1.Baseline comparison:during the study,3 cases fell off in the treatment group and 3cases fell off in the control group.A total of 62 cases(31 cases in each group)finally completed the observation of this study.Data analysis of general situation before treatment:The two groups were statistically compared in terms of age, gender, pathological type, and clinical stage(P>0.05),with no statistical difference and comparability.2.Efficacy results:(1)TCM syndrome:After treatment, the total score of TCM syndromes in both groups decreased compared to before treatment, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The effective rates of TCM syndromes in the two groups were 90.32%in the treatment group and 61.30%in the control group, respectively. The curative effect in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group and the control group have significantly improved 10 symptoms after treatment, including cough, expectoration, thin sputum, fatigue, shortness of breath, chest tightness, spontaneous sweating, loss of appetite, fear of wind, and pale complexion(P<0.01).After treatment, the single symptoms of the two groups were compared, including 7 symptoms such as cough, expectoration, thin sputum, mental fatigue, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and spontaneous sweating. After statistical analysis, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);After treatment, there was no difference between the two groups in symptom scores such as anorexia, fear of wind, and pale complexion(P>0.05).(2)KPS score:After treatment, the KPS score of the treatment group was significantly different from that of the control group, and the improvement of KPS was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(3)Pulmonary function:After treatment,VC,FEC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC in in the treatment group and the control group increased compared to before treatment(P<0.05),and the effect of the treatment group after treatment was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).(4)LCQ score:After treatment, the total LCQ score of both groups increased compared to before treatment, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The treatment group had statistically significant differences in physical and psychological areas compared to the control group after treatment, and the efficacy was more advantageous(P<0.05).(5)Safety:There were no adverse events or safety issues in both groups. The safety indicators of both groups before and after treatment were within the normal reference value range. Conclusion:Modified Bufei Decoction can improve postoperative TCM syndromes,KPS scores, lung function, and LCQ scores, and has a good clinical effect on promoting postoperative rehabilitation of patients with non small cell lung cancer of lung qi deficiency type. Moreover, there are no adverse reactions during the use process, and the safety is good, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
