Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Carotid Atherosclerosis By Moxa Tube Needle

Objective:Observing the therapeutic effect of moxa tube needle on phlegm-damp carotid atherosclerosis,and objectively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of moxa tube needle in treating phlegm-damp carotid atherosclerosis.Methods:Using SPSS25.0 for random grouping,60 patients with phlegmatic carotid atherosclerosis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with aspirin enteric-coated tablets 100 mg/d and atorvastatin calcium tablets 10 mg/d,which were taken every night at bedtime for 4 weeks.In the treatment group,moxa tube needle treatment was applied on the basis of the control group,with Zusanli,Sanyinjiao,Fengchi,Quchi,Neiguan,and Xuehai;dialectical matching points were taken from Zhongwan,Fenglong,and Yinlingquan.The patient is seated,the acupuncture site is fully exposed,the acupuncture site is routinely disinfected,and the moxa column is taken to be about 4.0 cm high and 0.6 cm in diameter,with an orifice of about1.5 mm in diameter running through the moxa column in its middle.At the bottom of the moxa pillar,there is a 0.9 cm wide strip of flame retardant tinfoil around the pillar.Insert the moxa column around the flame retardant tinfoil end into the base,light the upper end of the moxa column with an alcohol lamp,blow out the moxa fire,tear off the bottom of the base sticker and stick it to the acupuncture point.And then,take 0.30 * 60 mm disposable sterile acupuncture needle,the tip of the needle into the central orifice of the moxa column after the casing needle technique,finger lightly button the needle shank,the needle straight into the acupuncture point depth of about15 mm,to the needle body,needle shank junction touch the moxa column for the degree,forming a group of warm acupuncture.Retain the needles for 30 minutes.Treat once a day,6 times a week,with 1 day off,for 4 weeks.By comparing the intima-media thickness,carotid plaque area and blood lipids before and after treatment and in different groups,we observed the therapeutic effects of the moxa tube needle on carotid atherosclerosis with phlegm and dampness,and used SPSS 25.0 statistical software for statistical analysis to objectively evaluate the effectiveness and safety of the moxa tube needle in treating carotid atherosclerosis with phlegm and dampness.Results:1.Before the start of treatment,all baseline items were equal in the treatment and control groups.At the end of treatment,the data of phlegmatic Chinese medicine evidence score,Chinese medicine vertigo symptom score,carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),maximum plaque area,total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were significantly improved in both groups,and the differences within and between the groups The differenc-es within and between groups were significant(p<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.2.After the treatment,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was analyz-ed and compared.4 cases in the treatment group were clinically effective,20 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective,and 1 case was aggravated,with a total effective rate of 88.9%;0 cases in the control group were clinical-ly effective,16 cases were effective,10 cases were ineffective,and 2 cases were aggravated,with a total effective rate of 57.1%,and by statistical analysis,the treatment group was superior to the control group(p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Compared with oral aspirin enteric-coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets alone,the combination of Ai Guan acupuncture and drugs is more effective in improving the clinical symptoms of patients with phlegm dampness carotid atherosclerosis.2.For patients with phlegm dampness carotid atherosclerosis,compared with taking aspirin enteric-coated tablets and atorvastatin calcium tablets alone,Ai Guan acupuncture combined with western medicine is more effective in reducing carotid intima-media thickness,reducing the largest plaque area of carotid artery and improving blood lipid levels.
