Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of intranasal acupuncture combined with Yupingfeng granules in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold. Methods:From January 2022 to January 2023,120 patients of allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold in the otolaryngology outpatient department were selected as the research objects, and the recruited patients were randomized according to the ratio of 1:1:1:1divided into western medicine group,Yupingfeng granules group, intranasal acupuncture group and combined group. The western medicine group was treated with budesonide nasal spray;the Yupingfeng granules group was treated with budesonide nasal spray and Yupingfeng granules;the intranasal acupuncture group was treated with budesonide nasal spray and intranasal acupuncture;the combined group was treated with budesonide nasal spray,Yupingfeng granules, combined with intranasal acupuncture. The treatment course was 14 days for all.Changes in the total nasal symptom score(TNSS),Total non-nasal symptom score(TNNSS),rhino-conjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire(RQLQ)scores and TCM symptom score were observed and recorded before and after 2 weeks of treatment, respectively. And the difference in effective rate among the four groups was compared.Results:1.The total effective rate in the Western Medicine group was 73.33%,the Yupingfeng granules group was 76.67%,the intranasal acupuncture group was 83.33%,and the combined group was 90.00%.There was a statistically significant difference in the efficacy among the four groups(p<0.05).2.After 2 weeks of treatment, the TNSS,TNNSS,RQLQ scores and TCM symptom score of patients in all groups were lower than before treatment(p<0.05).However,the combined group was superior to the other groups(p<0.05).Conclusions:1.Applying the intranasal acupuncture combined with Yupingfeng granules can effectively improve the nasal symptoms, quality of life and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of patients of allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold;2.Based on the application of budesonide nasal spray, the clinical efficacy of the intranasal acupuncture combined with Yupingfeng granules is better than that of the budesonide nasal spray combined with Yupingfeng granules, and better than that of the budesonide nasal spray combined with intranasal acupuncture.3.This experiment has verified the clinical efficacy and safety of Yupingfeng granules combined with the intranasal acupuncture to treat patients of allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold, and provides theoretical basis for clinical application of this combined treatment method to treat allergic rhinitis with the type of lung qi deficiency and cold.
