Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of low frequency neuromuscular stimulation in the treatment of penile hypersensitive premature ejaculation. Methods:A total of 69 patients with penile hypersensitive premature ejaculation diagnosed by penis neuroelectrophysiology were selected as the study subjects from November 2021 to August 2022 in the outpatient department of andrology of our hospital.According to the random number table method, they were randomly divided into 3 groups, with 23 cases in each group.Group A: low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation;Group B: local anesthetic treatment group;Group C: low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with local anesthetic treatment group.Group A was treated with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation,5-6 times a week for 3 months;Group B received compound lidocaine cream 30 minutes before sex for 3 months.Group C was treated with low frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation and compound lidocaine cream 30 minutes before sexual activity for 3 months. The average intravaginal ejaculation latency time(IELT),the premature ejaculation diagnostic tool(PEDT)score and the sexual satisfaction score of the spouse of the three groups were collected by questionnaire after 3 months of treatment and before treatment. At the same time, the penile nerve electrophysiological examination was performed in the three groups before and after3 months of treatment, and the latency of penile dorsal nerve somatosensory evoked potential(DNSEP)and glans penis somatosensory evoked potential(GPSEP)were recorded. In addition, the adverse reactions of the three groups during the treatment were collected and statistically analyzed. Results:During the trial,1 patient in group A and 2 patients in group B withdrew from the trial, resulting in a total of 66 patients with reliable follow-up trial data. After 3months of treatment, the IELT,PEDT,spouse sexual satisfaction scores,DNSEP and GPSEP latency of the three groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05).After treatment, the scores of IELT,PEDT,spouse sexual satisfaction,DNSEP and GPSEP latency in group C were better than those in group A and group B(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference in the related observation indexes between group A and group B after treatment(P > 0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups(P > 0.05).Conclusions:1.The efficacy and safety of low-frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation in the treatment of penile hypersensitive premature ejaculation are good, and it can be used as a treatment for penile hypersensitive premature ejaculation.2.The efficacy of low-frequency neuromuscular electrical stimulation combined with local anesthetic in the treatment of penile hypersensitive premature ejaculation is more significant than that of single drug treatment and simple electrical stimulation, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
