The Clinical Observation On Treating Psoriasis Vulgaris (Blood Stasis Syndrome) By Huayu Tongluo Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Huayu Tongluo Decoction combined with calcipotriol ointment and fire acupuncture in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome),so as to provide new methods and ideas for the internal and external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome).Method:From November 2021 to November 2022,82 patients with common psoriasis(blood stasis evidence)were collected from the Department of Dermatology,Cangzhou Hospital of Integrative Medicine,Hebei Province,China,and the patients were divided into two groups of 41 cases each according to the random number table method.The control group was given fire acupuncture target lesions and topical application of calcipotriol ointment to the lesions twice daily;the treatment group was given oral administration of Huayu Tongluo Tang,and the rest of the treatment was the same as that of the control group.After 8 weeks of treatment,the differences between the control and treatment groups in terms of TCM syndrome score of blood stasis syndrome,PASI score,dermatology life quality index(DLQI),total effective rate,BMI and recurrence rate were compared.Result:A total of 82 cases were included in this study and 76 cases were actually completed,38 patients in each group,with no serious aderse reactions.1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,disease duration,and comparison of BMI,TCM syndrome score,PASI score,DLQI and peripheral blood TNF-α level between the two groups before treatment(all P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.After 8 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome scores of blood stasis syndrome,DLQI scores,PASI scores and peripheral blood TNF-α levels in 2groups were significantly decreased compared with before treatment(all P <0.05),and the differences were statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome scores,DLQI,PASI scores and peripheral blood TNF-α levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(all P < 0.05),and the differences were statistically significant.After 8 weeks of treatment,there was no significant change in BMI between the two groups compared with that before treatment(P > 0.05),and there was no significant difference in BMI between the two groups(P > 0.05)。3.After 8 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.7% higher than that of the control group 68.4%,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.2 months after stopping treatment,the patients were followed up,and the recurrence rate in the treatment group was 10.53% lower than 31.58% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the control group using fire needle and carpotriol ointment,Huayu Tonglu Decoction combined with fire needle and carpotriol ointment in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome)is safe and reliable,with higher effective rate and lower recurrence rate.It can effectively reduce patients’ PASI score,TCM syndrome score of blood stasis syndrome,DLQI score,peripheral blood TNF-α level,and improve patients’ quality of life.It can be used in clinical treatment.
