Data Mining Analysis Of Yang Suxia’s Treatment Of Alcoholic Cirrhosis

Objective: To collect the medical records of patients with alcoholic cirrhosis in Yang Suxia’s TCM outpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine,and to explore the medication rules of Yang Suxia’s TCM treatment of alcoholic cirrhosis by using data mining technology.Method: From January 2018 to December 2022,ALC patients who visited Yang Suxia’s famous traditional Chinese medicine clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine were selected and 200 cases of medical records were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Data mining system was used to sort out and make statistics on the collected medical records,and the results were analyzed and summarized.Summarize the core drugs,drugs,cluster prescriptions,etc. of Yang Suxia famous old doctor in the therapy of ALC,organize and describe Yang Suxia’s famous old doctor’s clinical ideas in the treatment of ALC and the protocols for using traditional Chinese medicine.Results: In this study,200 outpatient medical records of ALC patients were analyzed.A total of 200 TCM prescriptions,188 TCM tastes,and 3289 medication administrations were recorded.The collected medical records were statistically analyzed,and the following findings were attained:1.The majority of ALC patients,comprising 49% of all patients,are between the ages of 50 and 59.2.The main clinical manifestations of ALC patients are hypochondriac discomfort,fatigue,poor appetite,bitter mouth,yellow urine,etc.In this study,four types of syndrome were included: Phlegm-stasis interjunction syndrome(26.5%),liver-gallbladder dampness-heat syndrome(27.5%),liver-qi and spleen deficiency syndrome(35.5%),and liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome(10.5%)are all conditions that affect the liver.3.The statistical study of medications revealed that 10 different types of traditional Chinese medicine were used about 40% of the time,with poria cocos accounting for71.5% of that total.Poria cocos,Xiang Fu,malt,licorice,tangerine peel,astragalus,dandelion,angelica,red peony root,and turgjin were among the medications frequently used to cure Yang Lao’s Illness.4.The commonly used Chinese medicines used by Yang Lao in the treatment of ALC include tonifying deficiency,clearing heat,controlling qi,improving water and moisture,releasing food,stimulating blood circulation and reducing blood stasis,etc.Among them,tonifying deficiency was the most frequently used medicine,24.41%.5.The frequency of use of cold drugs was the highest,31.83%,followed by the frequency of normal drugs,31.77%.The main medicinal taste was sweet,35.85%,followed by bitter,27.84%.Spleen channel(21.00%)and liver channel(18.56%)were the main drug channels.6.The drugs used by Yang Lao in the treatment of ALC were divided into 5 categories by high-frequency drug cluster analysis: the first category: Xiangfei,malt,turmeric;The second category: dandelion,Perilla,tangerine peel,pinellia;The third type: Poria cocos,processed licorice,Paeony,atractylodes,yam;The fourth type: Salvia miltiorrhiza,red peony root,wormwood root,pueraria;The fifth category: Astragalus,Angelica,turtle shell,Ligusticum Chuanxiong.7.Through the association analysis of high frequency drugs,it was concluded that the common drug pairs of Yang Lao in the treatment of ALC were: Fructuary and malt;Licorice,poria cocos;Tangerine peel,incense;Poria cocos + aromatic herb → malt;Incense + licorice → malt;Xiangfu,licorice → Poria cocos;Dandelion,incense;Aroma+ Tangerine peel → malt;Malt + licorice → Poria cocos;Angelica,incense.Conclusion:1.According to Yang Lao,the pathophysiology of ALC is "alcohol and poison dampness-heat buildup,Qi blood phlegm stasis,liver,spleen,and kidney malfunction" and is always related to a lack of origin and a lack of substance.Deficit-tonifying medications are frequently coupled with medications for removing heat,controlling qi,and improving blood circulation during treatment.The healing qualities combined chilly and warm,greater sweetness and bitterness,which opened bitter and decreased,and the main drugs were spleen and liver channels.The clinical prescriptions mainly used poria cocos,Xiangfu,malt and other drugs.2.Based on drug association and cluster analysis,the core ingredients of Yang Lao’s treatment of ALC could be obtained: Xiangfu,malt,turmeric,poria cocos,Tangerine peel,pinellia pinellia,white Rhizome,Chinese yam,astragalus and angelica sinensis,which reflected Yang Lao’s attention to the liver and spleen.In the treatment,the liver and spleen should be harmonized,and the treatment should be combined with attack and tonifying,and the treatment should be centered on strengthening and consolidating the root.
