Analysis Of Supply And Demand Measurement And Use Efficiency Of Medical Elderly In China

Under the condition of underdeveloped economy,China has entered the aging society in advance,forming a social situation of "getting old before getting rich" and "getting old before getting ready",which brings severe challenges to economic development,old-age security,medical and health care and other aspects.The World Health Organization pointed out that the most fundamental problem caused by the aging of the population is health problems.With the growth of age,the physical function of the elderly is declining,and the increasing demand for medical resources,diversified medical services are needed.In the context of aging,how to accurately measure the gap between supply and demand of medical resources for the elderly,improve the use efficiency of medical resources,and realize the effective supply and efficient operation of medical public resources is of great significance to the reform of medical system and promote economic growth.This paper mainly measures the supply and demand of medical resources for the elderly,and analyzes the use efficiency and influencing factors of medical resources.Firstly,the information entropy method is used to construct the supply and demand index of geriatric medical resources,measure the supply and demand situation and analyze the supply and demand coordination;then evaluate the latter efficiency based on the threestage DEA model;finally,the Tobit regression model is used to analyze the influencing factors of geriatric medical resources.The results show that:(1)the supply capacity of medical resources in the central and western regions supported by the state is high,And the economically poor western and northeast regions have a high demand for elderly medical resources;(2)The coordinated development degree of the supply and demand of geriatric medical resources is not synchronized with the economic development,The coordinated development degree of supply and demand in the central and western regions is slightly higher than that in the east;(3)The overall supply and demand of medical resources of the elderly group in China shows a gradual positive trend,However,the use efficiency of the supply and demand of the elderly medical resources in different provinces shows obvious regional differences;(4)The coordinated development degree of the supply and demand of geriatric medical resources is roughly consistent with the direction of the coordination degree,But the degree of coordinated development is generally lower than the degree of coordination;(5)Most of the supply and demand of geriatric medical resources in various provinces are in a highly coordinated development state;(6)Population density,aging ratio,per capita GDP,proportion of fiscal budget expenditure,proportion of medical and health expenditure will improve the efficiency of the use of elderly medical resources,The level of urbanization will inhibit the efficiency of the use of elderly medical resources.
