| Objective:(1)To understand the current situation of fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients, and to analyze the potential categories and influencing factors of fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients. To provide theoretical support for improving fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients;(2)To understand the status quo of health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients, analyze the influencing factors health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients and explore the correlation between recurrence fear and health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients. So as to provide theoretical support for improving health promotion behavior and quality of life in elderly stroke patients. Methods:This study was a cross-sectional study.Suitable subjects were selected by convenience sampling method. From March to October in 2022,450elderly stroke patients in Department of Neurology and rehabilitation of a 3A hospital in Guangxi were investigated by using three questionnaires, namely the patient general situation questionnaire, the Health Promoting Lifestyle ProfileⅡand the Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form. The collected data conforming to normal distribution was statistically described by(±S),the measurement data not conforming to normal distribution was statistically described by M(P22,P75),and the counting data was described by the rate and the percentage.Mplus 8.3 was used to analyze the potential profile of fear of recurrence,Chi-square test was used to analyze the influencing factors of the potential categories of fear of recurrence, and the Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze predicting factors of the potential categories of fear of recurrence. The Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H were used to analyze the influencing factors of health promotion behavior in senile stroke patients.Correlation analysis between recurrence fear and health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients:Mann-Whitney U test was used to test the influence of potential categories of fear of recurrence on health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients, and Spearman correlation analysis was used to test the correlativity between the score of recurrence fear and the score of health promotion behavior in senile stroke patients.Predictors of health promotion behavior in senile stroke patients were analyzed by multiple linear regression.Results:(1)A total of 442 valid questionnaires were collected in this study. The total score of recurrence fear in senile stroke patients was 23.00(18.00,27.00),which was at a medium level.23 patients(5.2%)suffered from mental dysfunction. There were two potential categories in elderly stroke patients’fear of recurrence,“low fear of recurrence”and“high fear of recurrence”.Gender, age, spouse status, family per capita monthly income, type of medical insurance, recurrence times were different in two potential categories, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and binary Logistic regression analysis showed that gender, age, spouse status, family per capita monthly income, recurrence times were predictors of the potential category of fear of recurrence.(2)The total score of health promotion behavior in elderly patients was115.00(101.00,128.00),belonging to the medium level.Univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in health promotion behavior scores among senile stroke patients with different educational levels, per capita monthly family income, type of medical insurance, family residence, family history, and whether suffering from hyperlipemia, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Mann-Whitney U test show that there were differences in health promotion behavior of elderly stroke patients with different potential categories of recurrent fear(P<0.05).The score of health promotion behavior in the“low fear of recurrence group”was higher than that in the“high fear of recurrence group”.Spearman correlation analysis showed that the total score of fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients was negatively correlated with health promotion behavior(r=-0.580,P<0.01),and the total score of fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients was negatively correlated with the scores in various aspects of health promotion behavior.(4)Multiple linear regression analysis showed that educational level, family per capita monthly income, whether there was hyperlipidemia and the potential categories of recurrence fear were predictors of health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients(adjusted R2=0.324,P<0.05),collectedly accounting for 32.4%of the total variation in the equation(F:31.195,P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients is at a medium level, there were two potential categories of“low fear of recurrence group”and“high fear of recurrence group”.It is necessary to further improve the recurrence fear in elderly stroke patients, pay attention to patients with dysfunction, and prevent fear of recurrence from worsening to higher levels. The influencing factors of the potential category of fear of recurrence in elderly stroke patients include gender, age, spouse status, family per capita monthly income, type of medical insurance, recurrence times, among which, gender, age, spouse status, family per capita monthly income, recurrence times were shown to be predictors of the potential category of fear of recurrence by binary Logistic regression analysis.(2)The health promotion behavior score of elderly stroke patients was at the medium level, and there was still a large room for improvement. The influencing factors of influencing factors of health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients include educational level, family per capita monthly income, type of medical insurance, family residence, family history, and whether suffering from hyperlipemia.(3)The level of health promotion behavior in the“low fear of recurrence group”was significantly higher than that in the“high fear of recurrence group”.There was a negative correlation between the total score of fear of recurrence and the total score of health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients, which is,the more severe the fear of recurrence, the worse the health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients.(4)Educational level, family per capita monthly income, whether there was hyperlipidemia and the potential categories of fear of recurrence were predictors of health promotion behavior in elderly stroke patients by multiple linear regression analysis. |
