| Objective:To investigate the distribution of TCM evidence Patterns in Patients with type 2 diabetic sleep disorder and to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the intervention of the formula of nourishing Yin and sleeping Peace in type 2 diabetic sleep disorder(Yin deficiency and heat evidence),so as to Provide ideas for clinical treatment.Methods:(1)A total of 116 Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus sleep disorder who were hospitalized in the endocrine department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to January 2023 were selected,and their general conditions were investigated,and the information was collected and classified into five types: yin deficiency and heat,qi and yin deficiency,blood stasis and blood obstruction,Phlegm and dampness(heat)interconnection,and yin and yang deficiency.The data were recorded in Excel tables and statistical analysis was Performed using SPSS.25.0 to explore the Possible influencing factors.(2)A total of 44 Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus sleep disorder(Yin deficiency and heat evidence)who were admitted to the endocrine department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2021 to January 2023 were selected.In the control group,the Patients were given oral alprazolam tablets,0.4 mg/time,once daily at bedtime,on the basis of the conventional treatment regimen;in the Chinese medicine group,the Patients were treated with the formula of nourishing Yin and sleeping well for 14 days on the basis of the control group.The FPG,2HPG,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score and TCM symptom score were observed before and after treatment in both groups,and finally statistical analysis was Performed using SPSS.25.0.Results:(1)Among the 116 Patients included in the study,there were 44 cases of yin deficiency and fire,28 cases of qi and yin deficiency,21 cases of Phlegm and dampness(heat),16 cases of blood stasis and 7 cases of yin and yang deficiency.There were 55 cases in males,accounting for 47.41%of the total,and 61 cases in females,accounting for 52.59% of the total,with a male to female ratio of 1:1.1.The female Patients had significantly higher yin deficiency and fire symptoms than the male Patients.The age distribution was mainly between 56 and 75 years old.The average duration of illness was 10(5,20),and the average duration of illness was longer in the group with blood stasis and yin-yang deficiency compared to the other three types of illness.The mean BMI was 24.12±3.47,which was on the obese side of the Chinese standard,with the largest mean BMI in the Phlegmdamp(heat)interconnection group and the smallest mean BMI in the yindeficiency-fire evidence group.The PSQI scores were different among the five types of symptoms,with the highest PSQI scores for Patients with Yin-Yang deficiency symptoms and the lowest PSQI scores for those with Phlegm-Damp(Heat)intertwine symptoms.(2)Among the 44 Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus sleep disorder(Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity)included in the study,there were no significant differences in gender,age,BMI,smoking history,drinking history,duration of diabetes mellitus,blood glucose and PSQI between the two groups before treatment,which were comparable.After 2 weeks of treatment,the FPG,2h PG,PSQI score and TCM evidence score in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the TCM group was better than the control group(P<0.05).No adverse reactions or events occurred in any of the subjects during the study Period.Conclusion:(1)The distribution of symptoms in Patients with type 2 diabetic sleep disorder is as follows: Yin deficiency and fire hyperactivity > Qi and Yin deficiency > Phlegm and Dampness(heat)intertwine > Blood stasis blocking the ligaments > Yin and Yang deficiency.Yin deficiency is the basic Pathogenesis of the disease,which can lead to deficiency of both Qi and Yin over time.(2)This formula can reduce blood glucose and improve sleep quality and clinical symptoms in Patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus sleep disorder(yin deficiency with fire)with better efficacy than conventional western medicine. |
