| ObjectiveThrough clinical case collection, syndrome type screening, drug therapy and statistical analysis of scale, the clinical efficacy and safety of Chaima Ningdong decoction in the treatment of liver stagnation and lung heat tic disorder were observed, providing new ideas for the treatment of tic disorder by integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.MethodsAll the patients were from outpatients of Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and pediatric Neurology of Shandong Provincial Hospital.64 patients with liver depression lung heat type tic disorder who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group(receiving tiopride hydrochloride tablets + Chaima Ningdong Decoction)and control group(receiving hydroride tablets),with 32 cases in each group. There were 3 cases of shedding during the study, and a total of 61 patients completed the study, including 31 in the observation group and 30 in the control group. The treatment lasted a total of eight weeks.Yale Comprehensive Symptom Severity Scale(YGTSS)and TCM syndrome score of patients were recorded before and after treatment. The changes of clinical efficacy after treatment were observed, and the safety indexes and adverse reactions of patients were recorded. All data were analyzed using SPSS26.0.Results1.In terms of the total clinical effective rate after treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.55%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 80.00%.The clinical effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).2.The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.55%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 80.00%.The clinical effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).3.In terms of YGTSS scale score: YGTSS score of both groups decreased significantly after 8 weeks of treatment. In the intra-group comparison, the scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P<0.01);The effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).4.In terms of TCM syndrome score: after 8 weeks of treatment, the TCM syndrome score of both groups decreased significantly. In the intra-group comparison, the scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P<0.01);The effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).5.In this study, there was no obvious adverse reaction in the two groups of patients, and there was no abnormality in the detection of safety indicators.ConclusionChaima Ningdong Decoction is an effective prescription for the treatment of tic disorder due to liver depression and lung heat.It is more effective when combined with conventional western medicine such as Tiapride Hydrochloride than when used alone. It shows more advantages in improving patients’ TCM syndromes, without obvious adverse reactions, and has good safety. |
