Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Qi Deficiency Constipation After Stroke By Yiqi Tongfu Massage

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of Yiqi Tongfu massage in the treatment of post-stroke Qi deficiency constipation,it provides a new idea and a new method for the clinical treatment of post-stroke Qi deficiency constipation.Methods:Sixty patients with post-stroke Qi deficiency constipation who met the diagnostic standards,the inclusion criteria,exclusion criteria,and the treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)were randomly assigned.Both groups were given conventional basic treatment,including antihypertensive,hypoglycemic,lipid-lowering,anticoagulation and antiplatelet aggregation.On this basis,the treatment group was treated by Yiqi Tongfu massage,Operation:①According to rubs Guanyuan,Qihai,Zusanli,Pishu,Tianshu,Dachangshu,with a standard of Deqi,each acupoint was operated for 2 minutes;②According to rubs Lanmen,reducing methods in Jianli,each acupoint was operated for 2 minute;③Abdominal massage in a clockwise direction for about 5 minutes.The control group was treated with conventional massage,Operation:①According to rubs Tianshu,Shangjuxu,Guanyuan,Qihai,Zusanli,Pishu,Sanyinjiao,Changqiang,with a standard of Deqi,each acupoint was operated for 2 minutes;②Abdominal massage in a clockwise direction for about 5 minutes.Both groups were treated once a day,6 times as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment.After treatment,the overall efficacy,Constipation Symptom Self-Rating Scale(PAC-SYM)score,constipation clinical symptom grading scale score,modified Barthel Index scale score and so on were compared and analyzed between the two groups.Result:①Evaluation of overall efficacy:The treatment group’s total effective rate was 82.76%whereas the control group’s was 66.67%;this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),demonstrating that the treatment group’s overall efficacy was higher than that of the control group.②Comparison of clinical symptom grading scale score of constipation:The total score of symptoms,main symptoms and secondary symptoms of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),showing clinical advantages.③Comparison of Clinical Symptom Self-Rating Scale(PAC-SYM)scores for constipation patients:The total score,stool symptom score,rectal symptom score and abdominal symptom score of patients in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),showing clinical advantages.④Comparison of modified Barthel Index Scale score:there was no statistical significance between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05),indicating that the two groups had similar efficacy.⑤Safety evaluation:No abnormal symptoms or signs,allergy,skin damage,subcutaneous congestion and other adverse reactions occurred in both groups,indicating high safety.Conclusion:The treatment of post-stroke qi deficiency constipation by Yiqi Tongfu massage has a good clinical effect,which is better than conventional massage,and is suitable for clinical application.
