Objective By observing the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with rehabilitation therapy and respiratory training for patients with chronic non-specific low back pain in pain relief and improving core muscle strength,so as to explore a safe and novel treatment method for this disease and provide rigorous and reliable clinical data. Methods The 99 volunteers with chronic nonspecific low back pain who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into group A for acupuncture treatment;Group B received acupuncture+rehabilitation training;and Group C received acupuncture+rehabilitation training and breathing training.Treatment three times a week for a total of twelve. Before and at the end of the treatment, the use of Visual Analog Scale(VAS)to measure the pain scale of three groups of volunteers, and the surface EMG test instrument was used to collect RMS values of erector spinae, obliquus externus abdominis, and gluteus maximus to evaluate the muscle strength of these muscles during lower back activity.Changes in VAS scale values and RMS values before compared after treatment in the three groups. Results Three groups of VAS scores, and RMS values improved significantly after treatment, which were statistically different from before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the difference between VAS scores was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the VAS score of group C was significantly lower than that of group B than group A;the RMS value was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the RMS value of group C was significantly higher than that of group B than group A.Conclusion 1.All three treatment options can reduce lower back pain, and group C is more effective than group A and B;2.All three treatment options can improve the muscle strength of erector spinal muscle, external abdominal oblique muscle, gluteus maximus and maximus muscle, and improve their contraction ability, and group C is better than group B and Group A.3.In the process of clinical observation, all volunteers did not have any adverse reactions, which proved that the safety factor of the above treatment methods was very high and can be used clinically used.
