| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Chai Dao Qing Ying Decoction in treating damp-heat eczema,to enrich Professor Zhang Xiaojie’s theoretical basis and clinical experience in treating eczema,to clarify the direction of application and practical value of Chai Dao Qing Ying Decoction, and to provide a basis for its widespread application. Methods:According to the criteria of this study,60 patients with damp-heat eczema were included and divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30)using the random number table method.Eczema area and severity(EASI)score, pruritus visual analogue degree score,Traditional Chinese medicine evidence score and dermatological disease quality of life index(DLQI)score were used as efficacy observation indexes. The treatment group was treated with Chai Dao Qingying Decoction orally and the control group was treated with Cetirizine hydrochloride Tablets orally.Patients in both groups applied a wet compress of compound Huangbai liquid every morning and evening, and after the wet compress,an appropriate amount of Mometasone Furoate cream was applied to the affected area. All patients were treated in7 d sessions.for a total of 2 sessions and the results were evaluated after treatment.Patients were asked about and recorded EASI scores, pruritus visual analogue degree score,TCM evidence score,DLQI scores and the occurrence of side effects by the same physician before treatment and at the end of treatment visits, respectively, and the corresponding questionnaires were completed.Data were statistically processed and analysed using SPSS 26.0statistical software.Results:1.Before treatment, the differences in gender, age, duration of illness and EASI score, pruritus visual analogue degree score,TCM evidence score and DLQI score between patients in the treatment and control groups were not statistically significant after statistical analysis(P > 0.05)and were comparable.2.After treatment, the EASI score, pruritus visual analogue degree score,TCM evidence score and DLQI score of patients in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment, and the difference within the group was statistically significant(P <0.05);when comparing the efficacy index of the treatment group with that of the control group, all the scores were significantly lower, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that both treatment groups could improve the area and The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P <0.05),indicating that both groups improved the area and severity of eczema, itchiness, quality of life and damp heat symptoms, with the treatment group performing better.3.In the treatment group,1 case was cured,17 cases showed efficacy,11 cases were effective,1 case was invalid, the total effective rate(96.7%),while in the control group,0 cases were cured,6 cases showed efficacy,16 cases were effective,8 cases were invalid, the total effective rate(73.3%),by chi-square test, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),suggesting that the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.4.No serious side effects were observed in either group, suggesting that both treatments have a high safety profile.Conclusion:1.Chai Dao Qing Ying Decoction is effective in treating patients with Damp-Heat type, which can significantly relieve the skin lesions and reduce the degree of itching, and its clinical treatment effect is superior to that of Cetirizine hydrochloride Tablets.2.Chai Dao Qing Ying Decoction can better improve the symptoms associated with damp-heat evidence and improve the quality of daily life of patients, and is recommended to be promoted and used in the future clinical treatment of this disease. |
