Objectives1.To investigate the resilience,self-efficacy,coping style and social support status of nurses in emergency department under the control of normalized epidemic situation.2.To explore the relationship between self-efficacy,coping style, social support and resilience of emergency nurses under normalized epidemic prevention and control.3.In-depth analysis of the related factors affecting the resilience of emergency nurses under the prevention and control of normalized epidemic situation, provide some reference for the formulation of mental health intervention measures for public health emergencies and the promotion of mental health services.MethodsA cross-sectional study design was used to select 368 emergency nurses from 5secondary hospitals and 3 tertiary hospitals in Changsha from May 2021 to August 2021 by stratified random sampling. The general information questionnaire, resilience scale, general self-efficacy scale, simple coping style scale and social support scale were used as tools for questionnaire survey. The questionnaire data were collected and analyzed by SPSS24.0 software.Descriptive statistics, single factor analysis(t test, variance analysis),Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise linear regression analysis were used to analyze the data.Results1.The score of resilience of nurses in emergency department under the control of normalized epidemic situation was(64.97 ± 18.11),which was lower than the national norm standard, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The average scores of each dimension of resilience from high to low are as follows : strength, tenacity and optimism.2.In the univariate analysis of general demographic data, there were significant differences in the resilience of emergency nurses with different gender, age, educational background, professional title, monthly income, working years, and whether or not they had nursed suspected or confirmed cases during the epidemic(P < 0.05).3.The resilience of nurses in emergency department and its dimensions were positively correlated with general self-efficacy(r = 0.695,P < 0.01).Positive coping was positively correlated with the total score of coping style(r = 0.474,P < 0.01).Positive coping was positively correlated with resilience, strength and optimism(P <0.01).Negative coping was negatively correlated with resilience(r =-0.176,P < 0.01),strength(r =-0.221,P < 0.01)and resilience, but not with optimism. It was significantly positively correlated with social support and its various dimensions(P < 0.01).4.Multiple linear regression equation showed : professional title(deputy high and above),self-efficacy,positive coping, negative coping, other support five variables into the regression model, and ultimately explain the resilience of 65 % of the variation.Conclusion1.Under the normal epidemic prevention and control, the mental health status of emergency nurses needs to be improved, and the resilience is at a medium level, which is lower than the domestic norm. Some emergency nurses have prominent mental health problems.Special attention should be paid to the mental mental resilience status of emergency nurses who did not directly participate in the nursing of new coronal patients during the epidemic period. At the same time, the group of nurses with low seniority and low professional titles should pay attention to it.2.Demographic data have different effects on resilience of nurses in emergency department, especially gender, age, education background, professional title, monthly income and working years.3.Improving the resilience of nurses in the emergency department can start with fostering self-efficacy,encouraging mature coping styles, providing more social support and broadening the channels of career development and promotion.
