Exploration And Clinical Study Of Insomnia Syndrome Based On The Theory Of Liver Depression

Objective To explore the theoretical connotation of ’liver’ and ’depression ’ in traditional Chinese medicine,and systematically study the basic framework of liver depression theory in traditional Chinese medicine;combing the theoretical basis of liver depression insomnia and clinical common liver depression insomnia syndrome type;to verify the curative effect of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder on insomnia of liver depression transforming into fire type.Methods 1.To systematically study the connotation and development of TCM liver,TCM"depression",depression-causing theory,and liver-depression theory,through TCM literature research.2.Through theoretical research,the composition of liver depression theory is deeply excavated,and the basic framework of liver depression theory of traditional Chinese medicine is systematically studied.3.Through theoretical and clinical research,to clarify the theoretical basis and syndrome distribution of liver depression and insomnia,and to clarify that Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder can effectively regulate and treat liver depression and fire type insomnia.Results 1.TCM liver is a system that includes the liver itself.The TCM liver connotations can be analyzed and understood from the liver location,the contents and interrelation of the liver system,the distribution of liver meridians,liver averse to depression,and liver’s main functions.The liver position should include the left and right flanks.To fully understand the difference that "liver system" is a system,instead of the liver itself.According to the theory of the Five Elements and the external-internal meridians,the general "liver meridian" also includes the hand JueYin pericardial meridian,the foot ShaoYang gallbladder meridian,and the hand ShaoYang triple-Jiao meridian.Those who against the smooth flow of the liver are all unfavorable to the liver.The main function of the liver is to convey and disperse,store blood,and regulate yin-yang.2.The "depression" in TCM includes the depression caused by the five movements,evil qi,qi-blood interaction,emotion and organs.The occurrence of depression is closely related to the factors of onset,characteristics of pathogenesis,and biased constitution.The pathological characteristics of depression are easy to affect the distribution of qi and blood,as well as the function of the human organs.It is easy to interact with emotions and thus cause diseases.It is easy to develop,change,and lead to other diseases.3.The composition of liver depression theory includes biased characteristics of constitution,pathogenic factors,pathogenesis,clinical symptoms,therapeutic principles and methods,etc.Liver depression is closely related to dredging,storing blood,storing soul,anger,contemplation and elimination.The theoretical system of liver depression includes the above two aspects.4.The important basis for the occurrence of liver depression and insomnia is that the liver should respond to governing ascending and dredging in Spring,the liver qi is prone to stagnation,and the liver is favorable with the free channels within it.The physiological characteristics of liver centered,blood centered,and multiple qi stagnation are the key factors commonly seen in women with liver depression and insomnia.The modified formula "Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder" is effective in treating insomnia that caused by liver-depression transforming into fire,which can significantly reduce PSQI score,shorten sleep latency,improve sleep disorders and daytime functional disorders,and alleviate symptoms of liver-depression transforming into fire such as irritability,dry mouth,and bitter mouth.Conclusion 1.A comprehensive review of the connotation of liver and ’ depression ’ in traditional Chinese medicine and the development of depression theory and liver depression theory,it is clear that the connotation of liver depression is the pathological state of liver qi stagnation due to the unfavorable dispersion of liver.2.Through the study of the pathogenesis of liver depression from the aspects of constitution bias,pathogenic factors,pathogenesis,clinical symptoms,treatment principles and methods,as well as the analysis and understanding of the specific connotation of the correlation between liver depression and dredging,storing blood,storing soul,anger,contemplation and elimination,the basic framework of liver depression theory is systematically studied.3.Liver depression and insomnia are commonly seen in clinical practice,with more cases in women than men.The modified formula "Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder" is effective in treating insomnia that caused by liver-depression transforming into fire.
