| BackgroundTuberculosis has the characteristics of difficult diagnosis,long treatment period,fast dru g resistance and large patient mobility,and it is difficult to prevent and treat.In recent years,r esearch has found that the use of m-Health(Mobile health),"Internet plus" and other informati on means can improve the compliance of tuberculosis patients and strengthen the supervision and management of tuberculosis patients.The outbreak of the COVID-19 has also made Inter net medical care attract higher attention and discussion.As one of the models under Internet m edical care,the Internet hospital will become the main way for patients to visit in the future.T herefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of medical and health services in Interne t hospitals,and patient experience is an important indicator of service quality,but the current r esearch on the patient experience of Internet hospitals are relatively lacking,so this study will discuss the patient experience under Internet hospitals,so as to provide reference to improving the service functions and quality of Internet hospitals and strengthening the management of tu berculosis patients.ObjectiveThis study is a cross-sectional study to analyze the patient experience in an Internet hospi tal by administering a questionnaire to tuberculosis patients.To improve the patient experienc e to "Intemet plus" medical services,and to further improves the service quality and function of the Internet hospital platform to provide references.Objects and MethodsIn this study,an Internet hospital built in collaboration between Beijing Chest Hospital a nd a third-party company is used as an example to survey tuberculosis patients attending onlin e clinics,and to analyze the patient experience and influencing factors.A total of 150 valid qu estionnaires are retrieved for this study,resulting in a questionnaire response rate of 86%.The sociodemographic characteristics,visits status of tuberculosis patients,patient satisfaction,c ognitive of Internet hospitals,medication compliance and patient experience of tuberculosis p atients are analyzed descriptively.Subsequently,t-test,ANOVA and multiple linear regressio n are comprehensively used to analyze the current patient experience situation and influencing factors of the Internet hospital.Data collation and analysis were mainly done through the Mic rosoft Excel 2019 and SPSS 26.0 software.ResultsThere are more male patients in this survey,mostly with undergraduate education,and th e residence is concentrated on Beijing,Tianjin or Hebei,income is above average.Tuberculos patients have a high praise rate in terms of cost of visits,waiting time,problem consultation ti me,doctor’s professionalism,degree of care,non-verbal communication such as limbs and ex pressions,and patient satisfaction.Most patients choose to seek medical treatment online due t o the epidemic,and only after being informed by doctors do they learn about it.In terms of the patient experience,the security dimension have the highest score(4.41±0.62)and the acquire ment dimension have the lowest score(3.97 ± 0.66).The results of univariate analysis show th at age,waiting time for visits,problem consultation time,doctor’s professionalism,overall sati sfaction with the visit,satisfaction with the visit process,satisfaction with the convenience of obtaining medical resources,satisfaction with visiting doctors,and satisfaction with Beijing C hest Hospital are statistically significant.After further multiple linear regression analysis,the r esidence,occupation,waiting time for visits,time for consultation questions,satisfaction with the convenience of obtaining medical resources and satisfaction with doctors affect the patient experience of tuberculosis patients in Internet hospitals(adjusted R2=0.416.F=9.723,P<0.01).Conclusions and RecommendationsThis study draws the following conclusions through survey and study as well as data anal ysis:(1)Internet hospital provides some basic medical treatment routes such as prescribing an d consultation,which save the patient’s visiting time and medical care costs.(2)Tuberculosis patients are more satisfied with Internet hospitals.(3)Tuberculosis patients have insufficient cognitiveof Internet hospitals.(4)The patient experience of tuberculosis patients is better on the Internet hospital,with t he highest score in the security dimension(4.41±0.62)and the lowest score in the acquisition dimension(3.97±0.66).Patient residence,occupation,waiting time for visits,problem consu ltation time,satisfaction with the convenience of obtaining medical resources and satisfaction with doctors affected the patient experience of tuberculosis patients in Internet hospitals.Based on the above conclusions,the following recommendations are made for the constr uction and development of Internet hospitals in infectious disease specialty hospitals:(1)Increased advocacy to improve patients’ cognition of Internet hospitals.(2)Using patient needs as the standard,individualized services are provided to Improve t he patient experience throughout the visit. |
