Statistics show that the number of depressed Chinese teenagers accounts for 26.1%of the total depressed population in the world,among which the situation is the most serious among high school students.According to the research on the mental health status of high school students in recent three years in the Report of China National Mental Health Development,it is found that in recent years,the depression of high school students has increased dramatically.Has gradually become a thorny public health problem,the detection rate of high school students depression accounted for about 40 percent,including the detection rate of major depression as high as 12.5 percent.At present,the number of high school students with depression is increasing,and it gradually develops into one of the most common mental diseases in this group.At present,the physical health level of high school students is declining and becoming more and more serious,and the loss of physical education awareness and exercise behavior of high school students has changed their physical life style,which is the main means to improve the depression of high school students,and the influence of different ways on depression is significantly different.At the same time,the study found that the sleep quality of depressed patients was significantly reduced,and depressed high school students had serious sleep disorders.Poor sleep can lead to more severe depression,and depression can lead to poor sleep.In addition,poor sleep can lead to more severe depression.Previous studies only discussed the relationship between physical lifestyle and mental health such as depression,and few studies on the relationship among physical lifestyle,depression and sleep quality among high school students.At present,it is urgent to pay more attention to the sports lifestyle and physical and mental health of high school students,wake up the demand for physical exercise,so as to achieve the goal of changing the sports lifestyle of high school students and promoting the mental health and sleep quality of high school students.Based on this,this paper adopts stratified cluster random sampling method to conduct questionnaire survey among 32,974 high school students in 13 cities of Jiangsu Province from 2020 to 2022.At the same time,depressive symptoms test,physical activity willingness,sleep quality and other living habits are investigated.Secondly,a total of 14943 high school students(SDS≥53)with depression were selected from 32974 valid questionnaires,including male and female students in grade one to three.Chi-square test and logistic regression were used to analyze and discuss the data,and the relationship among sports lifestyle,depression and sleep quality among high school students was analyzed.Finally,12-week football exercise was used to intervene high school students to explore the influence of sports lifestyle on the sleep quality of depressed high school students,and the results of questionnaire survey were verified.The physical lifestyle survey of high school students was conducted,and the self-rating Depression Scale and Pittsburgh Sleep Scale were used to test depression and sleep quality.To explore whether there are differences in depression level and sleep quality among high school students from different dimensions of physical lifestyle,and to conduct in-depth analysis on whether there is correlation between physical lifestyle and sleep quality of depressed high school students,and to provide scientific basis for promoting physical and mental health of high school students,improving sleep quality of depressed high school students and exercise intervention of depressed high school students from horizontal and longitudinal studies.So as to improve the physical and mental health level of high school students.The results are as follows:Study 1:To understand the overall situation of physical lifestyle and sleep quality of depressed high school students,and the relationship between physical lifestyle and sleep quality of depressed high school students.Methods:Stratified cluster random sampling method was used to select about 300 students in each grade from senior one to senior three in Jiangsu Province.Finally,32,974 high school students and 14,943 depressed high school students were selected to conduct a questionnaire survey on campus sports lifestyle of high school students.Results:(1)The detection rate of depression among high school students was 45.32%,among which 44.15%were male high school students and 46.54%were female high school students.The detection rate of depression among high school students from grade one to grade three was 44.74%,45.24%and 46.35%,respectively.54.05%female high school students;Most high school students prefer healthy sports lifestyle,reaching 36.17%.Male high school students prefer social,pleasure,health and fitness sports lifestyle more than female high school students,and female high school students prefer challenging and learning sports lifestyle more than male high school students.(2)Physical lifestyle significantly negatively predicted depression(p<0.01)and positively predicted sleep quality(p<0.01);There was a significant negative correlation between depression and sleep quality.Depression has a significant mediating effect between sports lifestyle and sleep quality of high school students.(3)Physical lifestyle positively predicted the sleep quality of depressed high school students(p<0.01).Study 2:Exercise intervention can promote the physical education lifestyle of high school students and improve the sleep quality of depressed high school students,and verify the relationship model established in Study 1;Methods:High school students in Changzhou Tianjiabing High School were selected and divided into depression experimental group,control group,normal experimental group and control group.The experimental group received moderate intensity exercise intervention for 12 weeks,3 times a week,45 minutes each time,while the control group did not receive any intervention,so as to control the exercise intervention of the two groups.Results:(1)12-week football intervention significantly improved sports lifestyle,depression and sleep quality of depressed high school students(<0.01);(2)After 12 weeks of football intervention,different dimensions of sports lifestyle of senior high school students had different degrees of promoting effects(P<0.01);(3)Pleasurable sports lifestyle had a significant positive effect on sleep quality of depressed high school students(t=2.453,p=0.021<0.05),but other dimensions of sports lifestyle had no significant effect(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)The current situation of depression among high school students is serious,male high school students have higher detection rate of depression and poor sleep quality than female high school students;The detection rate of depression and poor sleep quality was the highest in senior three.There are more high school students who tend to be healthy and happy sports lifestyle.(2)Sports lifestyle negatively predicted depression and positively predicted sleep quality of high school students;Depression significantly negatively predicted sleep quality in high school students;Depression has a mediating effect between physical lifestyle and sleep quality.Physical lifestyle can positively predict sleep quality of depressed high school students.(3)Pleasure-type sports lifestyle can significantly improve the sleep quality of depressed high school students,but other dimensions are not significant.
