| Objective:To compare the early postoperative gait and static balance ability between simultaneous and staged total hip arthroplasty(THA)for the treatment of bilateral osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH),evaluate their surgical effects and postoperative recovery, and provide a theoretical basis for the choice of surgical approach and clinical rehabilitation training. Methods:Thirty patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two groups A and B,and a further 15 normal peers were matched to serve as the control group. The specific groupings were as follows, group A(n=15):staged THA,the worse side was performed first, and another side was operated on after 3-8 months;Group B(n=15):simultaneous THA;Group C(n=15):normal peers. The changes of gait and static ability balance in groups A and B before operation and 6 and 12 weeks after operation were compared, and finally compared with group C.Results:①Before operation:there were no significant differences in gait speed, frequency, step length, and static balance between the two groups A and B(P>0.05).② 6 weeks after bilateral operation:there were no significant differences in gait speed, stride frequency,or stride length between groups A and B(P>0.05),but they were greater than preoperatively and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);The percentage of the center of gravity in group A was greater than that in group B,with significant differences(P<0.05),but the percentage of the center of gravity in groups A and B was smaller than that in the preoperative period, with significant differences(P<0.05).③12 weeks after bilateral operation:there were no significant differences in gait speed, stride frequency,or stride length between groups A and B(P>0.05),but these were greater than at 6 weeks postoperatively(P<0.05),and all were smaller than those of group C(P<0.05);A.There was no significant difference in the percentage of the center of gravity between the two groups of B(P>0.05),but the percentage of center of gravity between the two groups of a and B was still smaller than before operation, the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The recovery degree of gait and static balance ability in the early stage after THA by stage and in the same period is the same, but the treatment cycle and rehabilitation cycle of replacement in the same period are significantly shorter, which significantly reduces the psychological and physiological burden of patients. It is a scheme that can be considered clinically. |
