| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of adding electro-acupuncture Shenmen and Neiguan points to traditional acupuncture in the treatment of patients with insomnia after stroke.Methods:70 patients with insomnia after stroke were selected and randomly divided into 35 cases each in the cotrol group and the treatment group.Patients in both groups were given the basic treatment for stroke,which included medication and acupuncture treatment for stroke.In the basic treatment,the control group was given traditional acupuncture treatment,which was based on the acupuncture points of insomnia in "Acupuncture and Moxibustion".The treatment group was treated with electroacupuncture therapy,which was added electro-acupuncture Shenmen and Neiguan points on the basis of the control group.The treatment was 6 days a week for 2 weeks.Patients in both groups were assessed on the scale before and after treatment,and changes in scores were recorded.Sleep status was assessed according to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and TCM symptom rating scale,and depression was assessed by the Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD).And the curative effects were compared according to PSQI score.Finally,these data was analyzed by SPSS25.0.Results:1.Before treatment,the general information(Gender,Age and Disease duration)and the observation indicators(PSQI,HAMD and TCM symptom scores)were not statistically significant in both groups(P > 0.05).2.Comparison within the group after treatment: After 2 weeks of treatment,the PSQI scores,TCM symptom scores and HAMD scores were significantly improved in both groups compared with those before treatment(P< 0.01).3.Comparison between groups after treatment: After 2 weeks of treatment,the improvement of PSQI,HAMD and TCM symptom scores in the treatment group were superior to those in the control group(P < 0.05).4.Comparison of efficacy after treatment: The efficacy was assessed by PSQI score.In terms of overall effectiveness rate,the control group was79.41% and the treatment group was 87.88%.The treatment of both groups was effective,and the treatment group was superior to the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion:1.The treatment group and the control group can improve the clinical symptoms and sleep state of patients with insomnia after stroke.And the treatment group is superior to the control group.2.The treatment group and the control group can improve the depression in patients with insomnia after stroke.And the treatment group is superior to the control group.3.Electroacupuncture at Shenmen and Neiguan points is effective in treating patients with insomnia after stroke,which is superior to traditional acupuncture. |
