Objective:To investigate the factors affecting the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease combined with metabolic syndrome and the related TCM(Trad-itional Chinese Medicine)evidence features, and to provide theoretical support for the TCM evidence-based treatment of patients with coronary heart disease and coronary he art disease combined with metabolic syndrome.Materials and METHODS:Patients diagnosed with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of the Second Hospital of Fuzhou City from 2019.09 to 2021.09 were collected. The general clinical characteristics and Chinese medicine evidence characteristics of patients with coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease combined with metabolic syndrome were analyzed by Wilcoxon W test,chi-square test and Fisher’s exact probability method. The cut-off values of each index were taken and grouped by roc curve and clinical experience, and the relationship between TCM symptoms, blood indexes, general clinical indexes and combined metabolic syndrome in patients with coronary heart disease was analyzed using a multifactorial logistics regression model.Results:1,The age of onset of coronary heart disease was significantly younger in men than in women.2,Chinese medical evidence elements of coronary heart disease, blood stasis and qi deficiency accounted for the highest proportion of the symptoms in the standard and the original deficiency evidence, respectively, and remained the main Chinese medical evidence elements of coronary heart disease in this regional population.3.In men, blood stasis(39.0%)and phlegm stagnation(41.6%)were the main elements of TCM symptoms of coronary heart disease, while in women, blood stasis(44.2%),phlegm stagnation(23.8%)and qi stagnation(23.8%)were the main elements of TCM symptoms of coronary heart disease, and there was a statistical difference in the distribution of phlegm stagnation between men and women(P < 0.05).4.The smoking rate of male patients with coronary artery disease(35%)was significantly higher than that of female patients with coronary artery disease(24%),and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the distribution of blood stasis(45.3%)and phlegm(40.7%)evidence was higher in smoking patients than in nonsmokers.5,Ageing,elevated body mass index(BMI),and hyperlipidemia were all factors influencing the development of metabolic syndrome combined with coronary artery disease, with statistical differences(P < 0.05).6,There were statistical differences(P < 0.05)in AST/ALT(P = 0.042),BUN(P =0.005),CREA(P = 0.004),GGT(P = 0.008),GGT/ALP(P = 0.027),and uric acid(P = 0.000)indexes between patients with coronary artery disease alone and patients with coronary artery disease combined with metabolic syndrome.7,The distribution of TCM evidence elements in coronary artery disease combined with metabolic syndrome was mainly dominated by phlegm(52.4%)and blood stasis(43.9%)in the standard real evidence, and mainly by qi deficiency(31.1%)and yin deficiency(27.4%)in the deficiency evidence.8.Age,gender,smoking,hyperlipidemia,BMI,uric acid, various blood biochemical indicators, and various TCM evidence elements were included in the logistics regression analysis.Increasing age, hyperlipidemia,Chinese medicine evidence elements of phlegm, elevated CREA,elevated BUN/CREA,and decreased AST/ALT all increased the risk of developing metabolic syndrome in combination with coronary heart disease(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1,The age of onset was earlier in men than in women with coronary heart disease in this region, and the TCM evidence elements were mainly blood stasis and qi deficiency, which was generally consistent with the national epidemiological survey of coronary heart disease.2.The combined metabolic syndrome of coronary heart disease was correlated with advanced age, body mass index, hyperlipidemia,Chinese medical evidence of phlegm, and CREA,BUN/CREA,and AST/ALT.3.The correlation between the factors influencing the development of coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease combined with metabolic syndrome and the related TCM syndrome characteristics in this region can provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease and coronary heart disease combined with metabolic syndrome in Chinese and Western medicine in this region.
