Coronary heart disease (CHD) is a common disease which is seriously harmful to people's health, and it is the first obituary reason of the non-infection in the world. CHD is being a rising tendency in China in recent years. Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is the most important treatment of CHD. However the underlying risk of restenosis and heart failure affected the therapeutic effect of interventional therapy in the long rua. In recent years, some great progress has been made in thePrevention of restenosis and heart failure with Chinese medicine(TCM) in Some clinic research. So TCM should have played an increasingly important role. but it has some problems such as confusion of TCM treatment of CHD,lacking of large sample. We investigate and analyze the TCM treatment on coronary heart disease(CHD) patients with successful angioplasty or/and stenting in Xiyuan HospitalObjectiveTo investigate and analyze the TCM treatment on coronary heart disease(CHD) patients with successful angioplasty or/and stenting in Xiyuan Hospital, for providing the objective and scientific evidence of the standard TCM treatment on patients with successful angioplasty or/and stentingMethods156 patients with successful angioplasty or/and stenting were collected by upway data collection system, who were hospitalized in Xiyuan Hospital admitted during 2007.1-2009.12. the data of 156 cases were investigated in the characteristics of morbidity, reperfusion, modern medicine and TCM treatment and case fatality. We set up and managed the database with Excel, and we summarized objectively frequency of the basic information,TCM syndrome and modern medicine and TCM treatment.ResultThe mean age of the 400 cases of AM(61.57±13.21) year and the male female ratio was 1.69:1. The using rates of the other drugswere:isosorbide,95. 5%; asp irin,96.15%; beta2blockers,62.18%; angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI)or ARB,80.77%; lip id modulater,89.74%. Among the patients with syndrome of excess in appearance, there were 123 cases (78.85%) with blood stasis and 77cases (49.36%) with phlegm. Among the patients with syndrome of deficiency in origin, the percentage of patients with qi deficiency and yin deficiency were 60.9% and 29.49% respectively. Among the intravenous therapy of TCM, the Chinese medicine of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis were used more than others. Conclusion sThe coronary heart disease(CHD) patients with successful angioplasty or/and stenting were hosptalized in Xiyuan Hospital, the TCM symp toms were mainly blood stasis, stagnation of phlegm, deficiency of Qi and deficiency of yin. The Chinese medicine of promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis and yiqi play the most important role in the Chinese treatment for the cases. The TCM injections has played an increasingly important role.
