Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Mammary Gland Hyperplasia With Liver Stagnation And Phlegm By External Application Of Zhentong Sanjie San

Objective: To explore the effectiveness of external application of Zhentong Sanjie San combined with medium frequency therapeutic instrument in the treatment of breast hyperplasia of liver depression and phlegm coagulation type.Methods: 72 patients with liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type breast hyperplasia diagnosed in the breast special disease clinic of Ruikang Hospital Affiliated to Guangxi University of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into treatment group(external application of Zhentong Sanjie San combined with medium frequency therapeutic instrument)and control group(medium frequency therapeutic instrument).All patients began treatment 10 days before menstruation,once a day,30 minutes each time,10 days as a course of treatment,and stopped menstruation,After three courses of treatment,the curative effect was evaluated,and the patients who recovered from breast pain were followed up after 3 months.Results: A total of 72 cases were included,and 67 cases have finished all treatment.34 cases were completed in the treatment group,2 cases were shed,and 33 cases were completed and 3 cases were shed in the control group;After 3 courses of treatment,the improvement of pain symptoms(including VAS score and pain time)in the treatment group and the control group were better than those before treatment,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05);The breast symptoms(including breast tenderness,mass size,range and texture)in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in terms of breast tenderness,mass size and range,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant,and in terms of breast mass texture improvement,P > 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant;The TCM syndromes in the treatment group(including chest and flank fullness,good depression and irritability,the correlation between pain and menstruation,and pain like slowing anger)were improved compared with those before treatment,and the three scores of pain and menstruation,chest and flank fullness,good depression and irritability in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P < 0.05);There was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group in improving systemic symptoms and sighing,P < 0.05.There was no significant improvement in insomnia and bitter mouth between the two groups,P > 0.05;The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.1%,of which 2 cases were cured(5.9%),7 cases were markedly effective(20.6%),23 cases were effective(67.6%)and 2 cases were ineffective(5.9%);The total effective rate of the control group was 81.8%,including 0 cases cured,1 case markedly effective(3.0%),26 cases effective(78.8%)and 6 cases ineffective(18.2%).It can be considered that the total curative effect of Zhentong Sanjie San combined with medium frequency therapeutic instrument is better than that of medium frequency therapeutic instrument alone.Conclusion(s): The treatment group can alleviate breast pain and lump symptoms and signs of patients with liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type breast hyperplasia,improve traditional Chinese medicine symptoms and some systemic symptoms,and the overall curative effect is better than the control group.Through experimental research,it can be inferred that external application of Zhentong Sanjie San combined with medium frequency therapeutic instrument is an effective treatment for liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type breast hyperplasia,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
