Objective: To investigate the symptomatic factors and risk factors associated with the progression of acute aortic cerebral infarction, and to provide a basis for the early formulation of traditional Chinese and Western medicine interventions and the prevention of the progression of acute aortic cerebral infarction. Methods: From June 01,2020 to May 31,2021,476 patients with acute aortic cerebral infarction admitted to the Department of Encephalopathy of Zibo Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital were selected, and the clinical data of the patients were collected, and the patients were divided into progression groups(132 cases)and non-progression groups(344cases)according to whether the disease progressed within 7 days of onset, and the clinical data of the two groups were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 software.Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed on factors with statistical significance(P<0.05)in univariate analysis to screen out independent risk factors.Results:(1)In terms of symptomatic elements, there were differences in the internal wind, blood stasis and yin deficiency elements between the progression group and the non-progression group, which were higher than those in the non-progression group, and the internal wind elements were compared in two and two between the two groups(P<0.05),which was an important symptomatic factor leading to the progression of acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.(2)In terms of risk factors, there were obvious differences between the progression group and the non-progressive group in terms of systolic blood pressure level, admission time, diabetes history, serum cholesterol level, serum low-density lipoprotein level, blood homocysteine level, serum neutrophil number, whether intravenous thrombolysis, and whether to use butylphthalide injection at the time of admission(P<0.05),and multifactorial analysis showed that high systolic blood pressure level, delayed medical treatment, diabetes history, high serum cholesterol level, high blood homocysteine level, elevated serum neutrophil count is an independent risk factor for disease progression.Conclusion:(1)In the early stage of the onset of atherosclerotic cerebral infarction, the use of traditional Chinese medicine as early as possible to calm the liver and extinguish the wind, search for wind and communication, nourish the yin and yang, and activate the blood to dissolve stasis is an important measure to prevent the progression of the disease.(2)In the process of clinical treatment, adjusting blood pressure, adjusting blood lipids, reducing blood homocysteine levels, controlling blood glucose, and controlling infection are very important for improving stroke prognosis.(3)Patients need to seek medical attention in time after the onset of illness to buy time for the use of intravenous thrombolysis and butaftaric phthalide injection, which is crucial for controlling the progression of the disease.
