| Objective:Through comprehensively analysing the data and a preliminary study on the academic characteristics of Bagui medical books,this paper is to comprehensively and systematically study the quantity,type,loss,version and collection of Bagui medical books before the founding of the people’s Republic of China.The development characteristics of Bagui medicine is also summarized via Bagui medical books.The medical books of Bagui in the past dynasties is firstly being studied and comprehensively arranged in the paper.Additionally the paper analyzes the academic achievements,academic characteristics and influence of Bagui medicine in combination with the historical geography of Guangxi.Via these works,the relevant contents of Bagui medicine can be enriched and the influence of Bagui medicine can be continuously expanded.Methods:Firstly collect the relevant periodical papers by using the network platforms such as CNKI and Wanfang Data,secondly collect relevant materials of Guangxi medical books through provincial examination of Chinese medical books,general examination of Chinese medical books,examination of Chinese medical books,make-up examination of Chinese medical books,general catalogue of ancient books of Chinese medicine,dictionary of Chinese medical books and local county chronicles,thirdly go to the library of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Guilin Library of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region etc.for consulting relevant literature to understand the collection of medical books in Guangxi,and visit local experts,scholars and insiders in Guangxi.Result:This paper made a comprehensive investigation on the medical books of Bagui in the past dynasties.A total of 10 categories and 105 types are counted,which are respectively: 1 type of medical classics,4 types of basic theories,9 types of typhoid golden chamber,1 type of febrile disease and plague,5 types of diagnostic methods,18 types of acupuncture and moxibustion meridians,5 types of Materia Medica,17 types of prescriptions,30 types of clinical syndromes and 15 types of medical records,medical words and medical theories.There are 41 types of medical books in Bagui,including 1 in the Tang Dynasty,10 in the Qing Dynasty and 30 in the Republic of China.There are 6 categories and 13 types of existing Guangxi medical books not recorded in the general catalogue of Chinese ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine,including 2 types of basic theory,2 types of typhoid golden chamber,6 types of acupuncture channels,1 type of Materia Medica,1 type of clinical syndrome,1 type of medical record and medical theory.The overall number of medical books in Bagui is small,but the categories are relatively complete.Some medical books such as medical classics,basic theoretical diagnosis,acupuncture and moxibustion meridians and prescriptions are quite characteristic and have high academic value.For example,the classified articles of Lingshu body essence written by Huang Zhou in the Republic of China are interpreted by the combination of China and the West.The principles of Chinese medicine,written by Lu Junheng in the Republic of China,discusses Yin Yang and five elements from the perspective of the convergence of China and the West.The whole book of "Essentials of typhoid fever" written by Zhong Yuanyang in the Qing Dynasty is classified according to the categories of syndrome,combined with the local characteristics and treatment experience of Guangxi,and adjusted to local conditions.The new meaning of pulse theory written by Huang Xiaomei in the Republic of China discusses pulse theory with the idea of connecting China and the West.Luo Zhaoju in the Republic of China wrote practical acupuncture and moxibustion guidelines,which discusses the essence of acupoint meaning and classifies acupoints.The new edition of prescriptions written by Bao Xiangao in the Qing Dynasty is compiled in the order of human body from head to foot.Liang Lianfu’s Buzhiyibiyao in the Qing Dynasty is extensive and pays attention to popularization.The new prescription for treating Gu compiled by Lu Shunde in the Qing Dynasty is a monograph on the treatment of Gu disease in traditional Chinese medicine,which comprehensively and systematically discusses the etiology,pathogenesis,symptoms,identification and treatment principles of Gu disease.The whole book of medical guide mostly selects Lingnan diseases for syndrome differentiation and treatment,which is very regional.Conclusion:Through the collation and research of Bagui medical books in previous dynasties,we can see the development characteristics of Bagui medical books from the perspective of Bagui medical books.It is summarized as low start,rapid development,clinical syndrome differentiation and treatment,paying attention to practicality,the integration of China and the west,inclusiveness,adjusting measures to local conditions and unique characteristics. |
