Clinical Observation On Treatment Of H-type Hypertension(Phlegm-dampness Syndrome)with Erchen Decoction And Wuling Powder

Objective:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Erchen Decoction and Wuling Powder in the treatment of H-type hypertension(phlegm-dampness syndrome),and to provide ideas for the treatment of H-type hypertension with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:Randomly assigned 64 patients with H-type hypertension(phlegm-dampness accumulation syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria into control group(conventional western medicine)and treatment group(conventional western medicine combined with Erchen Decoction and Wuling Powder)according to the principle of randomization and control,32 cases each,and the course of treatment was 4 weeks.The clinical blood pressure,ambulatory blood pressure,Hcy,total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),liver Biochemical indicators such as renal function and changes in TCM syndrome scores.Results:Except for TG and HDL-C,all indexes of the two groups were improved.The clinical systolic pressure,average systolic pressure in each period,TC,LDL-C levels,and TCM syndrome score in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the Hcy level was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01).The clinical diastolic pressure and the average diastolic blood pressure in each period is not different from the control group(P>0.05).The effective rate of antihypertensive in the treatment group was 93.33%,which was roughly equal to 87.10% in the control group(P>0.05).It has more advantages in improving dizziness,headache,head sagging,vomiting,phlegm,chest tightness and insomnia(P<0.05).There was no adverse reaction in each group during this period,,and there was no abnormal safety indicator.Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Erchen Decoction combined with Wuling Powder combined with conventional western medicine is better than that of conventional western medicine alone in terms of clinical efficacy and improvement of TCM syndromes,without adverse reaction and side effect.
