Clinical Study Of Taishan Sibao Shengmai Tongluo Decoction Combined With Infrared Red Light In The Treatment Of Type 2 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy With Deficiency Of Qi And Yin

【Objective】: To observe the curative effect of Taishan Sibao Shengmai Tongluo Decoction combined with infrared red light irradiation on lower extremities in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy,explore its mechanism,and strive to improve the condition of patients through this study,enrich the experience of treating this disease with TRADITIONAL Chinese medicine,and improve the quality of life and happiness index of patients.【Methods】: A total of 88 patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected in this study and randomly divided into control group(western medicine mecobalamine tablet),observation group A(Taishan Sibao Shengmai Tongluo Yin),observation group B(Traditional Chinese medicine combined with infrared red light treatment).The changes of TCM syndrome,Toronto scoring system(TCSS),nerve conduction velocity,blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,blood routine,liver function and renal function were observed before and after treatment to evaluate the efficacy and safety.【Results】:1.Efficacy indicators: the total effective rate was 67.86% in the control group,86.67% in the observation group A and 93.33% in the observation group B,and the comparison between groups was P<0.05.2.TCM syndrome score: the total SCORE of TCM syndrome in the three groups after treatment was lower than before,with statistical difference(P < 0.001).The comparison between groups showed that the observation group A and B were lower than the control group after treatment,with statistical difference(P< 0.05).The comparison between observation group B and observation group A showed no statistical difference,P>0.05.3.Single TCM syndrome score: compared with the control group,all symptoms in the observation group were P<0.05;Observation group B and observation group A,limb numbness and limb pain in the two scores OF P<0.05,there was statistical difference;There was no statistical significance in comparison of six symptoms(P>0.05): fatigue,shortness of breath and lazy speech,spontaneous sweating and night sweating,thirst and drinking,five irritability fever and skin nail defects.4.TCSS score: compared with before treatment,the TCSS score of the three groups decreased(P < 0.05),and the score decrease level of group A and B was better than that of control group(P < 0.05).The comparison between group A and B was observed,P>0.05.5.Nerve conduction velocity: all nerve conduction velocity of the three groups before and after treatment were P<0.05,which was statistically significant;Pairwise comparison between the three groups after treatment,P<0.05,there was statistical significance,observation group B was better than observation group A,control group.6.Blood glucose and Hba1c: fasting and postprandial blood glucose and hba1 c were decreased in the three groups after treatment,P < 0.05;Observation group A and B had lower levels of blood glucose and saccharification than control group,P < 0.05;Comparison between group A and GROUP B(P>0.05).Conclusion: Taishan Sibao Shengmai Tongluo Decoction combined with infrared red light therapy can effectively improve clinical symptoms,reduce TCSS score,increase nerve conduction velocity,and reduce blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin levels.
