Objective This study aims to explore the feasibility and safety of the application of enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)in the perioperative period of lung cancer.Methods90 cases of lung cancer patients with video-assisted thoracic surgery(VATS)single lobectomy and lymph node dissection in the Department of thoracic surgery of our hospital from October 2016 to January 2018 were randomly divided into 3 groups, namely, the control group(group A),the western medicine group(B group),the group ERAS(group C)and the Western Medicine(group C),and the A group was used in the routine perioperative period.Management, group B and C were administered with the concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery. On this basis,C group was given oral administration of Chinese medicine. The concept of accelerated rehabilitation surgery includes preoperative education, preoperative oral carbohydrate and chest tube removal. The indication is relaxed until the thoracic drainage volume is less than 300 ml per day.The general data of the three groups, the operation situation, the postoperative pain score(visual analogue scale,VAS),the postoperative hunger sense score, the chest tube indwelling time, the total flow rate, the thoracic puncture rate after extubation, the incidence of postoperative complications(pulmonary infection, pleural effusion, atelectasis),and the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine after operation The scale of the rehabilitation scale and the time of hospitalization after operation.ResultsThe general data of the 3 groups, the time of operation, the amount of bleeding in the operation and the incidence of postoperative complications(pulmonary infection, pleural effusion, atelectasis),the total flow rate, the remedial rate after extubation, the total score of the total score of the first, third, seventh day postoperative recovery scale of the integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference between the 3 groups in the first, second, third day VAS score(P > 0.05).Compared with the A group, the score of VAS and the sensation of hunger after fourth, fifth days after operation in group B and C decreased significantly(P < 0.05).The retention time of thoracic duct and the time of postoperative hospitalization were significantly shortened(P < 0.05).Compared with the B group, there was no significant difference in the postoperative VAS score, the postoperative starvation score, the retention time of the thoracic duct, and the postoperative hospitalization time(P > 0.05)in the group C(P > 0.05),and there was a significant improvement in the 2,3,4 and 10 of the convalescent items in the convalescent operation period(P < 0.05)in the seventh day after the operation.ConclusionIn the perioperative period of lung cancer, the concept of accelerated rehabilitation after combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine can relieve postoperative hunger, shorten the retention time of thoracic duct, reduce postoperative pain, shorten the time of hospitalization, improve clinical symptoms, and be reliable in clinical safety and help the patients recover after operation.
