Evaluation And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Green Development In The Three Gorges Reservoir Area Of Hubei Province

Under the background of high-quality development in China,sustainable development of agriculture is gradually paid attention to by the party and government,and the green development of agriculture and rural areas has become a hot topic in the central document.In the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,the green development of rural areas contains the significance of promoting well-off society in an all-round way,providing ecological products and keeping homesickness.The Three Gorges Reservoir area in Hubei Province is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River,where the water and heat conditions are sufficient and the natural conditions are suitable for crop growth.In the past ten years,agriculture has achieved rapid development.However,due to the neglect of ecological environment maintenance,problems such as heavy pollution of non-point agricultural sources,soil erosion and soil fertility decline also exist in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei Province.These adverse factors will affect the quality and output of agricultural products,increase the negative problems of local agriculture,rural areas and farmers,and ultimately have a negative impact on the green development of agriculture.Therefore,it is necessary and important to study the level and influencing factors of agricultural green development in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei Province.This paper firstly analyzes the current situation of agricultural green development in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei Province,including location conditions,cultivated land resources,industrial structure and so on.Secondly,based on relevant research literature and the actual situation of the Three Gorges Reservoir area in Hubei province,this paper constructs an evaluation index system of agricultural green development from four dimensions of green production,economic benefits,ecological environment,resource utilization and 18 three-level indicators.Then,entropy method is used to calculate the agricultural green development index of the Three Gorges Reservoir area in Hubei Province from 2011 to 2020.And the horizontal and vertical analysis is carried out.Then,this paper selected seven indicators,such as industrial structure,urbanization level,financial support to agriculture level,to make an empirical analysis of the factors affecting the green development of agriculture in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei province.Finally,based on the empirical analysis results,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,and draws the following conclusions:(1)The green development level of agriculture in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei Province kept trending from 2011 to 2018,and the growth rate from 2017 to2018 was the highest.However,the green development index of agriculture from 2018 to2020 declined continuously,resulting in a series of problems.(2)There are great differences in the level of agricultural green development among the Three Gorges Reservoir areas in Hubei Province.Badong County has the best development level and ranks the first with an average score of 0.636.(3)In the analysis of influencing factors,the influence of planting structure and agricultural science and technology level on the green development of agriculture is positive,while the influence of income distribution and urbanization level on the green development of agriculture is negative,and the industrial structure,financial support for agriculture and agricultural industry agglomeration factors did not pass the significance test,have no influence on the green development of agriculture.(4)There are several ways to improve the level of green agricultural development in the Three Gorges Reservoir area of Hubei Province: pay attention to regional cooperation,promote new urbanization,develop characteristic agricultural products,narrow urban-rural income gap and promote agricultural science and technology innovation.
