| Industrial revitalization is an important basis for rural revitalization and pig industry is a pillar industry of animal husbandry and even agriculture in Yunnan Province. In recent years, the distribution of Chinese pig production shows the trend of gradually transferring to the central and western regions.Yunnan Province has certain advantages and conditions in pig breeding industry, and its pig production status in the country is constantly prominent. However, there are some restrictive factors such as limited agricultural resources, high production cost, high risk of animal disease and frequent fluctuation of market price in Yunnan province.Facing the urgent need of transformation and upgrading of the pig industry in Yunnan Province, how to scientifically layout the pig breeding industry, solve the regional problem of resource allocation, improve the pig production level, and promote the healthy, sustainable and efficient development of the pig breeding industry is an important issue that needs to be studied at present.Firstly, the present situation and development trend of live pig production in Yunnan Province were presented. Then, based on the relevant data in the past 20 years, the resource endowment coefficient method and comprehensive comparative advantage index method were used to comprehensively analyze the regional comparative advantage of live pig production in Yunnan Province. At the same time, using the index method of production distribution and the concentration coefficient method of producing area, the evolution of regional distribution and distribution degree of live pig production in Yunnan Province was explained, and whether the change of production distribution conforms to the principle of comparative advantage was evaluated. Finally, the panel data model was constructed to analyze the influencing factors of the change of the distribution of live pig production in Yunnan province, and the problems existing in the change of the distribution of live pig production in Yunnan Province were summarized according to the analysis results. The above conclusions are as follows: First, from the regional perspective, northeastern Yunnan, southern Yunnan and western Yunnan have obvious comparative advantages in pig production. In terms of cities and cities,Qujing,Zhaotong,Honghe,Pu ’er,Baoshan,Lincang and Yuxi have the most obvious comparative advantages in pig production, while Wenshan,Xishuangbanna,Dehong,Chuxiong,Lijiang and Dali have relatively obvious comparative advantages.Secondly, the distribution of pig production has formed a change trend of northeast Yunnan, shifting from central Yunnan to southern Yunnan and western Yunnan, and stable in northwest Yunnan. In addition to Qujing, the production layout index of other cities is relatively small and slowly improved.Origin layout presents the present situation and trend of dispersion,on the whole is still to maintain the distribution of dispersion.Thirdly, food resources, labor resources, economic level, development level of animal husbandry, consumption market potential, transportation accessibility, technological innovation level and the previous year’s production distribution index all have significant positive effects on the change of regional distribution of live pig production at the 1% level. At the 1%level,environmental regulation has a significant negative effect on the regional distribution of pig production. The effect of land carrying capacity on the distribution of pig production area was not significant.Fourthly, there are some practical problems in the overall change of live pig production layout, such as not exerting significant comparative advantages, prominent production imbalance, relatively weak industrial development foundation, lack of coordination in production resource allocation and relatively simple product structure.According to the conclusion of the study, countermeasures and suggestions were put forward to optimize the regional layout of live pig production, promote the scale of live pig production, strengthen the construction of supporting infrastructure, pay attention to the coordination of resources and environment, and strengthen the protection, development and utilization of varieties. |
