| This experiment was to compare the effects of dietary supplemented Bacillus coagulans and Clostridium butyricum on growth performance of broilers.A total of960 1-day-old AA broilers were divided into 4 groups with 8 replicates per group and30 broilers per replicate. The groups were as follows:1)control group, feeding basal diet;2)Antibiotic group, fed the basal diet plus oxytetracycline 300 g/t;3)Bacillus coagulans group, fed the basal diet plus 1×10~7 cfu/g Bacillus coagulans;4)Clostridium butyricum group, fed the basal diet plus 1×10~7 cfu/g Clostridium butyricum. The experiment lasted from 1 to 42 days of age.The results showed as follows:1.During the whole feeding experiment, compared with the control group, the average daily gain of broilers in antibiotic group and Bacillus coagulans group was significantly increased(P<0.05),the ratio of feed to gain was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and no significant difference between antibiotic group and Bacillus coagulans group(P>0.05).Moreover,there were no significant differences in growth performance between the Clostridium butyricum group and the control group(P>0.05).2.Compared with the control group, the blood ratio of A/G,the content of UA,TC,and HDL-C in antibiotic group was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the UA content of broilers in Bacillus coagulans and Clostridium butyricum groups was significantly decreased(P<0.05),the content of TC and the HDL-C in Bacillus coagulans and Clostridium butyricum groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the blood ratio of A/G and UA content between the Bacillus coagulans group and the antibiotic group(P>0.05).3.Compared with the control group,no significant differences in serum ALT and AST levels among the three experimental groups(P>0.05).4.Compared with the control group, the number of fecal Lactobacillus and Escherichia coli of broilers in antibiotic group was significantly decreased(P<0.05),and the Lactobacillus/Escherichia coli value was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, fecal Lactobacillus numbers in Bacillus coagulans and Clostridium butyricum groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),Escherichia coli were significantly decreased(P<0.05),and Lactobacillus/Escherichia coli values were significantly increased(P<0.05).In conclusion, dietary supplemented Bacillus coagulans improved the growth performance of broiler chickens by regulating intestinal flora, and the improvement efficiency of Bacillus coagulans was better than Clostridium butyricum. |
