| The Rhus typhina is native to North and has strong adaptability. It has developed roots and is resistant to poor and drought. It has been used as a tree species for afforestation on barren hills. However, due to its strong adaptability, whether it poses a threat to the greening and ecology of Handan or not, research is urgently needed. The present study investigated the application status, growth status, phenological period and undergrowth biodiversity of Rhus typhina in urban parks and roads in Handan, county parks in Handan and suburban roads through field visits, the results:(1)The distribution of Rhus typhina in Handan’s urban parks, suburban parks and suburban roads is extensive. The distribution area of Rhus typhina in most places is quite different. The average distribution area in urban areas and suburban parks is below300 m~2,the distribution area on both sides of suburban highway is larger, the average area is more than 2000m~2.From the perspective of landscape effect, urban and suburban park landscape effect is poor, suburban highway landscape effect is good.(2)A survey on the growth and reproduction characteristics of the Rhus typhina and its biodiversity in Handan showed that the population of the Rhus typhina was more than 8 years old and its density was greater than 0.2 trees/m~2,its vertical and horizontal annual growth is basically less than 20 cm,and often form obvious stratification, closed effect,so that the average number of other plant species under the tree is less than 3.However,if the population of Rhus typhina is more than 8 years old and its density is more than 0.2 trees/m~2,its lateral and vertical annual growth is less than 20 cm,but its tillering ability is strong and its growth rate can reach more than 8 trees/m~2on average, there are about 4 other plant species under the tree.In addition, for the Rhus typhina less than 3 years old,its annual lateral and vertical growth over 60 cm,expansion rate will exceed 20 plants/m~2.(3)After investigating the growth indicators of the Rhus typhina in various regions of Handan,it can be concluded that the growth and reproduction of the Rhus typhina in Handan has no environmental constraints and will expand into the surrounding areas in an unlimited and disorderly manner as time goes on,therefore, there is a greater risk of invasion of the Rhus typhina in the Handan Kong plantation area.We suggest that relevant organisations, such as gardens, should prohibit the use of Rhus typhina in urban areas and parks,in rural areas and abandoned mines, such as mountain greening cautious use. |
