| Along with the rapid development of our economy and growing population, the shortage of cultivated land resource becomes more and more obvious.Ensuring food security, improving the production and quality of agricultural products, strengthening sustainable development of agriculture has become one of the main tasks of Chinese agriculture development in the current and future period. The production potential of cultivated land refers to the highest production level that cultivated land can reach under certain natural conditions under the premise of sustainable utilization.Cultivated land production potential directly affects the output and quality of agricultural products,is the basis of high quality development of agriculture. In Inner Mongolia, due to the large span between east and west, different physical and geographical conditions, there is a huge difference in the potential of cultivated land production. Therefore,on the basis of summarizing previous studies, this paper collects and collates the data of climate, soil and agricultural input, uses potential attenuation model and principal component analysis method, takes wheat as the main crop, estimates the potential production of cultivated land in Inner Mongolia, analyzes the obstacle factors affecting the potential production of cultivated land, and puts forward suggestions to improve the potential production of cultivated land. The results show that:(1)The potential of cultivated land production in Inner Mongolia is on the rise. The spatial distribution decreased from southwest to northeast.During the period of 2010-2020,the cultivated land potential in Inner Mongolia was the highest in 2017 and the lowest in 2014.The largest cultivated land potential value is mainly distributed in Chifeng City,Tongliao City and Hinggan League area. The areas with the lowest potential of cultivated land production are mainly distributed in Genhe City,Yakeshi and Chenbahuqi in northern Greater Khingan Mountains of Hulunbuir City.(2)The potential of increasing cultivated land yield in Inner Mongolia showed a declining trend. The spatial distribution is higher in the south and lower in the north. The yield per unit area of wheat in Inner Mongolia showed an upward trend, and the spatial distribution was high on both sides and low in the middle. In general,in the southeast of Inner Mongolia,Chifeng City,Tongliao City and Xingan League have a high potential for increasing cultivated land yield, while Hulun Buir area has a relatively low potential for increasing cultivated land yield.Even in Genhe City and Yakeshi area, the potential for increasing cultivated land yield is close to the actual yield per unit area. This indicates that the actual utilization rate of cultivated land is close to the potential of cultivated land, and the utilization efficiency of cultivated land is high.(3)The main obstacle to the potential productivity of cultivated land is climate.Agricultural input has the lowest degree of hindrance to the productive potential of cultivated land in Inner Mongolia. The uncontrollable nature of climate factors leads to the highest degree of barriers to arable land, but it can be reduced through agricultural input to the degree of barriers to arable land.In addition, the cultivated land in Inner Mongolia has many problems, such as unreasonable land use, improper selection of planting varieties, backward agricultural technology and difficult circulation.(4)It is suggested to strengthen field management and soil improvement, promote efficient water-saving irrigation technology, strengthen agricultural scientific and technological innovation, rational use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and steadily improve agricultural mechanization. |
