Food security is an important research topic related to human survival and development.Promoting rice scale production is not only the need of national strategic behavior,but also the need for the development of farmer endowment economy.Hunan Province is the main grain-producing area in China.Promoting large-scale rice production in Hunan is an effective way to realize the responsibility of food security and agricultural modernization in a large agricultural province.Based on the theory of scale production in economics,this paper constructs the evaluation index system of rice scale production,selects the input-output model and the differentiation model,and analyzes the benefit and regional difference of rice production in Hunan province by using the data of Hunan rural statistical yearbook.The paper divides Hunan Province into four regions: North and East Hunan,Middle and South Hunan and West Hunan.The correlation analysis is based on Translog beyond logarithmic function input-output model and production-profit model.Dagum Gini coefficient model and Kernel density estimation model were used to compare the benefit of rice scale production in Hunan province.The econometric analysis shows that the benefit of rice scale production in Hunan is on the rise from 2011 to 2019.Among them,the factors that affect the benefit are mainly from fixed capital input,working capital and human capital.The comparative analysis shows that although the regional disparity of rice production benefit in Hunan province in the sample years presents a downward trend,the regional disparities are still obvious,mainly due to the impact of the scale level and geographical symbol brand caused by the difference of human geography endowment in the province.Therefore,to improve the efficiency of rice production in Hunan,we must promote rice production scale and efficiency simultaneously,implement differentiated rice production mode,pay attention to new technology and new mode of rice scale production,build rice industry brand with Huxiang culture. |
