This study was to investigate the effects of Bacillus coagulans & Yeast Culture(BcYC)on the growth performance, serum biochemistry, antioxidant function, intestinal function and intestinal flora of broiler.A total of 384 1-day-old yellow-feathered broilers were selected and randomly divided into four groups with 6 replicates(16 animals / replicate)for 42 days(3 days of pre-feeding and 39 days under feeding). The control group was fed the basal diet, and treatment group I,group II,and group III were supplemented with 200 mg/kg,300mg/kg,and 400 mg/kg BcYC.The results are as follows:1.Growth performance: Dietary supplementation of 300 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg of BcYC significantly increased the weight of 21-day-old broilers and significantly reduced the ratio of feed to weight(F/G)at 4-21 days and 4-42 days of age(P <0.05).2.Biochemical and antioxidant indicators: BcYC was added to the diet significantly increased the serum GSH-Px activity(P<0.05)of broilers at 42 days of age;the addition of300 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg of BcYC significantly increased the serum albumin(ALB)content, glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px),total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC),The content of catalase(CAT)activity(P<0.05)and the serum of alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and CAT and T-AOC activity(P<0.05)in 42-day-old broiler chickens had significant effects, and the addition of 400 mg/kg of BcYC had a promoting effect on increasing the ALB and total protein(TP)content in broilers at aged 42(P<0.05),and significantly reduced the activity of glutamate pyruvic transaminase(GPT)and malondialdehyde(MDA)content(P<0.05).3.Immune organ index: the addition of 300 mg/kg and 400 mg/kg BcYC to the feed grain significantly increased the spleen weight of 42-day-old broilers(P<0.05),and the addition of 400 mg/kg BcYC to the feed significantly increased the weight of the bursa fabricius of broilers(P<0.05).4.Gut morphology and microbial diversity: The addition of BcYC to the diet had no significant effect on the intestinal morphology of broilers(P>0.05).The results of the Alpha diversity analysis showed that, dietary supplementation of 400 mg/kg of BcYC significantly increased the Sobs index and significantly decreased the Simpson index(P <0.05),very significantly improved the Shannon index(P <0.01);dietary supplementation of 300 mg/kg of BcYC significantly increased the Shannon index(P <0.05);the phylum level classification found that, the addition of BcYC significantly increased the number of Firmicutes(P <0.05);at the genus level, dietary supplementation of BcYC significantly increased the abundance of Clostridia,Ruminococcus,Rikenella,Butyricicoccus and Eubacterium(P <0.05).In conclusion, the addition of BcYC to the feed food could promote the growth and development of yellow-feathered broilers, improve the antioxidant capacity of the body, and regulate the serum biochemical index and intestinal flora, the suitable addition was 400mg/kg.
