The development of mariculture industry is crucial for both China and the world’s food security.According to the China Fisheries Statistical Yearbook,the total output value of the fisheries economy reached RMB 2,968,973 million in 2021,a significant increase from RMB 2,210 million 40 years ago.Additionally,its share in the total output value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry,and fisheries has significantly increased from 1.6% to 20.2%.This booming industry has attracted much attention due to the specialized division of labor within the sector.The study of risk and specialized division of labor in mariculture holds academic and practical significance.Specialized division of labor plays a positive role in modern agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry,and fisheries by enabling farmers to maximize their comparative advantages and achieve efficient allocation of resources.This,in turn,enhances the level of production efficiency and improves the level of rural economic and social development.By examining the impact of mariculture industry insurance on the specialized division of labor and analyzing the extent to which different insurance costs affect it,this study provides theoretical support for the implementation of policybased fisheries insurance.The study findings will serve as a valuable reference for policy makers in the implementation of policy fishery insurance.Based on the aforementioned understanding,this paper aims to unveil the mechanism of vertical division of labor in the mariculture industry and explore ways to improve its production efficiency.To achieve this,the paper incorporates risk factors into the existing supra-marginal analysis model to study how farming risk affects the vertical division of labor in the mariculture industry,analyze the impact of farming risk on production efficiency,and simulate the evolution of industrial division of labor based on the ABM model to verify the hypothesis.This article contains six chapters in total.Chapter One focuses on introducing the writing background of the article,as well as the methods,concepts,and innovative points used in the article.Chapter Two mainly introduces the current domestic and foreign research progress,and lists some important fundamental theories.The third chapter section is the analysis of the current situation.The fourth chapter is the analysis of the inframarginal model of the specialization division of labor in the mariculture industry under the influence of risk,constructing and solving the inframarginal analytical model,and making equilibrium analysis based on it to draw corresponding inferences.The fifth chapter is the simulation of mariculture industry based on the ABM model.The analysis of the impact of risk response policy on specialization division of labor.The possible impact of risk response policies on the division of labor in the mariculture industry and the necessity of using ABM simulation are explained.The ABM model is constructed using Net Logo software to simulate and further analyze the division of labor in the industry.Chapter 6 contains conclusions and suggestions for countermeasures.The inferences obtained from the above analysis are presented in the conclusions and countermeasure suggestions.The results show that: firstly,the total learning cost of specialized farming technology required in different production stages affects the equilibrium division of labor structure in the process of mariculture industry.When the sum of learning cost of specialized farming technology in different stages is small,the equilibrium structure is determined by transaction efficiency,and the higher the transaction efficiency,the easier to achieve the division of labor.Secondly,the farming risk of division of labor and integration structure affects the equilibrium structure,and the corresponding critical value of transaction efficiency is not only influenced by the learning cost of specialized farming technology and the ratio of factor inputs in the production process,but also influenced by the farming risk.The greater the degree of risk reduction brought by specialized division of labor production,the more likely the critical value of transaction efficiency is less than the transaction efficiency.This makes it more likely that corresponding farming species will realize specialized division of labor production,and the vertical division of labor in the mariculture industry will improve the productivity of each link.The smaller the risk of division of labor production in the corresponding production link,the higher the productivity.Thirdly,mariculture insurance has no significant impact on the pattern of specialized division of labor in the mariculture industry.It can only change the evolution rate of the pattern of industrial division of labor of different farming species,slowing down the process of specialized division of labor of farming species with higher division of labor returns while accelerating the process of integration of farming species with lower division of labor returns. |
