Since the 1980 s,the Marine aquaculture industry in China has gradually stepped into the pattern of "Marine fishery and animal husbandry",which has formed the characteristics of increasing aquaculture area and diversified breeding varieties.High temperature will change the salinity and dissolved oxygen of seawater,thus inhibiting the growth of mariculture products or increasing the death rate.Therefore,high temperature is one of the major meteorological disasters faced by mariculture industry in China.High temperature index insurance is an innovative tool for risk management of mariculture industry.On the basis of literature review,this paper firstly sorts out and analyzes the existing meteorological index-type mariculture insurance products and their operation in China,and studies the technical problems and problems to be solved urgently in the design level and application level of meteorological index-type mariculture insurance.Then,taking the high-temperature index mariculture insurance products as an example,this paper studies the high-temperature index mariculture insurance products through the construction of five key links,including high-temperature index,risk analysis of yield per unit and trend yield fitting,meteorological index correction,insurance rate determination and pure premium correction.Finally,the high-temperature compensation index model of sea cucumber is established by taking the high-temperature index insurance of sea cucumber in Laizhou city,Shandong province as an example.The operational characteristics of existing meteorological index-type insurance products are summarized,and their regular characteristics are shown as follows: Firstly,the insurance objects of meteorological index-type insurance product management are mostly agricultural pillar industries with obvious regional characteristics,which is not only helpful to solve the problem of market demand,but also able to get financial support from local governments.Secondly,the loss rate stipulated in the existing insurance clauses is the best estimation of actual loss based on historical experience,and it is a reasonable and effective loss calculation method accepted by both parties.Thirdly,different insurance clauses are inconsistent in the determination of the trigger value.Even for the same type of insurance(such as air temperature index insurance),the calculation method of the effective heat accumulation index is also different.Fourthly,the insurance amount specified in the insurance clauses is not consistent with the determination standard.Fifth,the difference value of the disaster grade change is the same during the insurance period,but the difference value of the corresponding compensation amount change is not the same,which indicates that the insurance clause takes the growth cycle and value of the insured object into consideration.Sixth,the meteorological index insurance products show different characteristics in the definition of a wind disaster,the reduction of the risk of base difference and the control of claims risk.The study on the operation of existing meteorological index-based insurance products shows that the problems of the absence of output data and meteorological data,the control of base difference risk,and the separation of meteorological output such as temperature,precipitation and salinity have always been the problems that need to be solved for meteorological index insurance products.Through data collection and processing,separation of sea cucumber meteorological yield,to establish the relation between temperature and sea cucumber meteorological yield,high temperature compensation risk level is determined,determine the insurance rate,etc,in Shandong province Laizhou city sea cucumber heat index insurance medium level of risk can be divided into low,needs,medium to high,high four grades,pure insurance rate of 3.47%.
