Cultivated land is the material guarantee basis for national food security.The problem of the quantity of cultivated land in my country with more people and less land has attracted the attention of the country,but there are few studies on the quality of cultivated land.As the direct beneficiaries of cultivated land quality protection,farmers are also the key subject of research on cultivated land quality protection.Cultivated land quality protection is a series of ecological green farming measures that contribute to soil fertility,yield improvement,and soil improvement.This article selects cultivated land pollution treatment and restoration,commercial organic fertilizer or soil testing formula fertilizer application,high efficiency,low toxicity,and low residue based on related research.The recycling of pesticides and pesticide packaging adopts four farmer behaviors for related research.Capital endowment serves as an analysis of the various resources and abilities possessed by farmers and their families.On the one hand,it is not only a benchmark for farmers to measure their own abilities,but also as an internal driving force for farmers to adopt farmland quality protection behaviors.Based on the survey data of 1021 farmers in 13 prefecture-level cities in Jiangsu Province,this paper uses the entropy method to calculate the level of farmers’ fractal capital endowment and the division of capital structure,and analyzes the characteristics of farmers’ capital endowments and differences in capital endowments and the protection of famers’ cultivated land quality.Preliminary description of the behavior adoption relationship,based on this,builds a Probit regression model,from a micro perspective to study the factors of farmers’ capital endowment and structural heterogeneity on the factors that affect farmers’ adoption of farmland quality protection behaviors.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Among the 1021 samples investigated,farmers accounted for 24.09%,41.72%,and 53.77% of the total samples,including farmland pollution treatment and restoration,commercial organic fertilizer or soil testing formula fertilizer application,high-efficiency,low-toxicity and low-residue pesticides,and pesticide packaging recycling 33.40%,and overall the adoption rate of farmland quality protection behaviors by farmers is low.(2)There are significant differences in various types of capital endowments of the sample farmers.The order of the average value of the five types of capital endowments of farmers is: human capital(0.076)> natural capital(0.049)> physical capital(0.046)>economic capital(0.043)> social capital(0.018).The comprehensive capital endowment level of the sample farmers is relatively low,and the strong capital comprehensive endowment type accounts for 44.76%.In terms of regions,the capital endowment level of various types of farmers in southern Jiangsu,central Jiangsu,and northern Jiangsu decreases from south to north.The capital endowment of rural households in different regions is divided The level difference is significant.In terms of the capital structure of rural households,human capital-dominated rural households accounted for 33.89% of the total,while social capital-dominated rural households rarely accounted for only 1.18%.In terms of high-efficiency,low-toxicity and low-residue pesticide use,pesticide packaging recycling,commercial organic fertilizers or soil testing formula fertilizers,the average level of comprehensive capital endowments and other five types of capital endowments of farmers using farmers is higher than that of non-using farmers.(3)Various capital endowment factors have a significant impact on farmers’ adoption of cultivated land quality protection behavior.The scale of farmland in natural capital and the health status of human capital have a significant positive impact on farmers’ use of farmland pollution control and restoration,and the economic gap in economic capital has a significant negative impact on farmers’ adoption of farmland pollution control and restoration.The application of commercial organic fertilizer or soil-testing formula fertilizer for farmers is significantly positively affected by the level of education in human capital,the ability to borrow money in social capital,and the trust of village cadres.The scale of farmland and soil fertility in natural capital,the level of education in human capital,and the environmental protection attitude of other villagers in social capital have a significant positive impact on farmers’ application of high-efficiency,low-toxicity and low-residue pesticides,while income from economic capital is expected to decrease,Will show a significant negative impact.Finally,the number of farmers in the human capital,the type of housing in the physical capital,and the environmental protection attitude of other villagers in the social capital will have a clear positive incentive for farmers to carry out pesticide packaging and recycling,and the shortage of capital in the economic capital will cause serious problems.The adverse effects.(4)The heterogeneity of the capital endowment structure of farmers has a significant impact on the adoption of cultivated land quality protection behavior.The dominance of natural capital has a significant positive impact on farmers’ choice of farmland pollution treatment and restoration,the use of high-efficiency,low-toxicity and low-residue pesticides,and the recycling of pesticide packaging.The human capital dominant type has a significant positive impact on farmers’ choice of commercial organic fertilizers or soil testing formula fertilizers,the use of high-efficiency,low-toxicity and low-residue pesticides,and the recycling of pesticide packaging.Material capital dominance has a significant beneficial impact on farmers’ choices of farmland pollution control and restoration and pesticide packaging recycling.Economic capital farmers have a more prominent performance in adopting the behavior of arable land quality protection.Based on the above research conclusions,relevant policy recommendations are put forward:(1)Comprehensively promote and improve the capital level of farmers;(2)Pay attention to publicity and education,and enhance farmers’ awareness of farmland quality protection;(3)Strengthen the promotion of farmland quality protection related technology;(4)Improve Cultivated land quality protection supervision mechanism. |
