Garlic is a herbaceous plant in the genus Allium of the Liliaceae.It is often used as a seasoning in daily life,and can also be used as a vegetable and medicine.Garlic has a pungent taste when eaten,but its nutritional value is very rich.Garlic bulbs are rich in protein,minerals,sulfur compounds,etc.Among them,allicin has medical and health care functions such as sterilization,antibacterial,anti-cancer,and anti-aging.Garlic is widely cultivated all over the world,and the larger countries include China,Argentina,South Korea,India,the United States,France,Spain and other countries.China has a long history of garlic cultivation,and its planting area,output and export volume rank first in the world.Domestic garlic growing areas are mainly distributed in Jinxiang,Shandong,Pizhou,Jiangsu,Yongnian,Hebei and other places.The planting process of garlic is ditching,sowing,mulching,field management,and harvesting.At present,domestic garlic sowing is mainly done manually.Artificial sowing garlic has high labor intensity,low production efficiency and high operating cost,which severely restricts the development of my country’s garlic industry.Compared with manual seeding,mechanized seeding has the advantages of high production efficiency,low cost,and less labor.Therefore,it is very urgent to realize the mechanized planting of garlic.According to the agronomic requirements of garlic planting in Jiangsu Province and the actual needs of farmers,this paper designs and develops a 6-row garlic planter.Use finite element analysis method to optimize the design of key components.Finally,prototypes are manufactured and field tests are carried out to verify the operating effects of the machines.(1)According to the agronomic requirements of garlic planting in Jiangsu Province,several main parameters of the garlic planter are determined,and the overall structure design and transmission system design are completed.The whole machine structure of the 6-row garlic planter is introduced.The planter is mainly composed of a seed box,a frame,a seed picking device,a planting device,a soil scraping device,a walking system and a transmission system.The structure and working principle of each part are explained.The structural design and transmission system design of the various parts of the garlic planter were completed,and the rationality of the design of the ground wheel and the transmission system was checked.(2)Use ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software to optimize the structure of the seed tray.The seed tray is the core part of the seed extraction device of the planter,and its structure optimization is beneficial to reduce the replay rate and missed seeding rate,improve the seeding performance of the planter,and make the structure of the seed tray more reasonable and beautiful.First impose constraints on the disk body and perform statics analysis and topology optimization to find the optimizable area,and then use the multiobjective optimization design module to perform more accurate parameterized design of the optimized area,and find the precise optimal range within the constrained range.Re-modeling according to the analysis results,and performing static analysis on the improved model again to check whether it meets the strength requirements,and finally obtain the seed tray model after structural optimization.After optimization,the mass of the seed tray is reduced from the original 3.0468 kg to 1.3404 kg,which is reduced by 1.7064 kg,and the weight is reduced by 56%.The structure is more reasonable and the weight is lighter,which meets the design requirements.(3)Complete prototype trial production and field test.The prototype prototype was completed in Xiechuang Agricultural Equipment Co.,Ltd.in Hailing District,Taizhou City,Jiangsu Province.According to "Technical Conditions for Single Seed(Precision)Planter"(JB/T 10293—2001),"Test Method for Single Seed(Precision)Planter"(GB/T 6973-2005)and the agronomic requirements of garlic sowing in Jiangsu Province,the seeds are Injury rate,seed spacing qualified rate,reseeding rate,missed seeding rate and seeding depth qualified rate are inspection indicators.The seeding performance of the 6-row garlic planter designed in this paper is tested through field tests.The result of the field test is that the garlic seed damage rate is 0,the seed spacing qualified rate is 98%,the reseeding rate is 3.72%,the missed seeding rate is 4.65%,and the seeding depth qualified rate is 98.13%,which meets the seeding performance test of the single seed planter.Evaluation index.
