Research On Antibiotic Safety Use Behavior Of Aquaculture Farmers From The Perspective Of Capital Endowment

Since the emergence of penicillin in 1940,people’s understanding and application of antibiotics have been greatly improved.As an effective antibacterial agent,antibiotics are widely used in the prevention and treatment of bacterial diseases in humans and animals as well as feed additives to promote the development of animal husbandry and aquaculture.The abuse of antibiotics has led our country to become a major producer of antibiotics.According to statistics,there are more than6000 domestic manufacturers qualified to produce antibiotic drugs,involving a variety of antibiotics,with an annual production capacity of more than 210000 tons,and tens of thousands of antibiotic drugs.Users and manufacturers complement each other,resulting in the abuse of antibiotics.The scope of harm has covered many areas,including aquaculture,which is one of the most serious areas.Antibiotics can promote growth and prevent diseases in aquaculture,which brings huge economic benefits to farmers,but also brings a lot of problems.As a large fishery country,the current problem of aquaculture diseases is very serious,and the losses caused by diseases are relatively serious,which is particularly unfavorable to the development of aquaculture industry.In the process of aquaculture,antibiotic use behavior of farmers is affected by many aspects,among which capital endowment is the core factor that determines production behavior.Its specific definition is the sum of resources owned by a family in the aquaculture industry.Therefore,it has an impact on the decision-making of production behavior mainly through the following aspects,including social,economic and cultural capital.The safe use of antibiotics by aquaculture farmers under the condition of capital endowment is very important.It can not only promote the development of aquaculture,reduce environmental pollution,ensure the safe supply of aquatic products and food,but also protect their own health,so as to achieve the sustainable development of aquaculture.Based on the perspective of capital endowment,it is of great significance to explore the relationship between antibiotic use behavior and the development of aquatic safety.Based on the literature research and pilot evaluation,this paper,through the field survey of aquaculture farmers in Xiuyu District,Putian City,in order to obtain first-hand data information,mainly uses questionnaire survey and literature method to discuss the current situation and existing problems of antibiotic drugs in aquaculture.On this basis,the regression equation of Logit model is applied.According to Bourdieu’s practical theory,practical behavior will be affected by field,habit and capital.The analysis results show that there is a positive correlation between economic,cultural and social capital and farmers’ attitude towards the safe use of antibiotics.Among the factors influencing the safe use of antibiotics in aquaculture,household expenditure was the main factor influencing economic capital,with the influence coefficient reaching 2.257.Among the factors influencing the safe use of antibiotics in aquaculture,the degree of education was the main factor influencing cultural capital,with the influence coefficient reaching 0.544.Among the factors influencing the safe use of antibiotics in aquaculture,whether to cooperate with technical units was the main factor influencing social capital,with an influence coefficient of 0.148.It can be seen from these that among the factors affecting the use of antibiotics,capital endowment has different influence degrees,among which economic capital has the greatest influence,while cultural and social capital are in the secondary position.The safe use of antibiotics by aquaculture farmers is the result of the interaction of the three factors.In this case,the interaction term between the education level of aquaculture farmers and the relevant variables of social capital has a significant impact on the safe use of antibiotics by aquaculture farmers,which indicates that social capital has a good mediation effect to a certain extent.
